Do you think Ava...

Is a good or bad guy? Clementine said not all of the people in the new frontier are bad.

  • Definitely a good.

  • She seems nice and she has a cool design with what i'm sure is an interesting background but knowing telltale she's either just going to die or have no barring on the plot otherwise. Hopefully we see more of her in future episodes since it was really hinted at her showing up again.

  • Objectively? I'm hoping a little bit of both so as to finally give Clementine a personal rival of sorts.

  • I think she may be the reason AJ is gone. I hope not tho. She seemed cool

  • I think she'd going to be in some sort of conflict with Clem in flashbacks but turn out to be a ally because she likes Clem and AJ in the end.

  • Doesn't even look like Telltale even knows.

  • Just like the rest of the product.

    Agreed.

  • if people have already made judgement on her based on that single flashback, then they're getting a little ahead of themselves. we don't know why ava invited clementine to the new frontier. she could have her own reasons.

honestly, i'd be disappointed if she turned out to be trouble, since most people in the game are these days.

  • I thought that one promo picture kinda seemed like Clem was defending her, but I'm not really sure how things are gonna turn out after the first two episodes. I hope she ends up being being in the less radical faction of NF, though.

  • i haven't seen the promo pictures, so i wouldn't know. i agree with the last sentiment.

  • For once, I want Ava to be good and not revealed to be a bad person. I want to see a community who doesn't just have bad people just because they are supposedly the antagonists. There has to be both good and decent people as well as less decent and downright bad people. It just makes The New Frontier group more grey and more reasonable to believe that Javier and his group might be joining them, if that's what going to happen.

  • Gray morality, protagonist-lean. Her voice acting, however, is pretty poor.

  • I thought her voice acting wasn't that bad, plus we've barely even met her character.

  • Maybe that's it cause she sounds nothing like I thought she would. She also doesn't act like I thought, but still.

  • Ava isn't a guy at all.

  • Isn't Ava Gill?

  • I didn't steal that duffel bag if that's what you're asking.

  • She's an unknown at the moment. We've seen her through one flashback so we can't tell if she's nice or not. Based on her eagerness to befriend Clementine I took it as a slight clue that she could be manipulative

  • I think she's manipulative, but not in a bad way. Sometimes people can be manipulative to help themselves without necessarily wanting to harm someone else. Hell, Clem has done it before.

  • She rubbed me the wrong way. "We make a good team." No, we just met, and the fact that you're getting close to AJ makes me even less trusting.

  • Yeah, she seems like a foil to Jane. I liked her the moment I found that screenshot.

  • She strikes me as a character who acts sweet and sympathetic when she's around other people, but when she's alone, she puts her kitten in the oven and laughs manically.

  • She seems nice but nice people can go bad.

  • I might be wrong (I only do one playthrough which is a rarity on this forum) but I could've sworn she said that TNF "werent always bad" not that they "werent all bad", which is a far different statement.

If you stand and fight at the end of episode 1 Clementine says "They used to be decent people, now they're... something else."

  • I'm still pinning that on the leadership, though. Something changed, and the whole group got dragged along with it

  • Max, Rufus and Ava are decent people!

  • I don't know who this Rufus is, but I'm thinking Max and Eva are still decent. Badger gotta go bro

  • Rufus was the driver of the truck whom we can kill.

Even though he was angered at Javier for knocking unconscious and potentially killing Lonnie, he refrained from harming him during the trip on the truck because that is simply not how the New Frontier aims to operate. He was able to put his anger aside to remain a faithful member of his group.

Lonnie was the man with the unsettlingly deep voice.

If by unsettlingly you mean sexy, then I agree. ;)

"What you got hiding under there boy!?"

    Reads it in Lonnie's voice

  • To be fair, that's less idiotic than Javier calling Clementine a friend.

I dont trust her in the slightest bit, I had bad vibes and AJ confirmed them by crying and pointing at her.

She seems like she might be alright, but she was being nosey and pushy and I want nothing to do with her tbh.

  • Ohhhh. Rufus... He's gone man. He shouldn't have threatened me like that lol

I think you could add Lonnie to that list, too

The only reason he started threatening Javier is because he heard Kate cough.

I mean, just before that happened, he lowered his gun and was like "Look man, this doesn't have to go-- [bad]"

Max, Rufus and Ava are decent people!
