We have the whole rest of the season to go! If you were expecting to see 42 different scenes that specifically address the type of Clementin… moree that you have then you are correct that we didn't do that. We have shown the beginnings of that, but there are many other choices that will come into play. Some not even directly. For example, we won't specifically call out if Clem specifically watched Carver die, but that experience will 100% effect how Clem reacts to situations over the course of the series. But don't expect Clem to have a monolog about "once there was a man named Carver who....". Sorry to have disappointed you but if you hang in there I think you'll find your Clem is there.
Yeah... I'll hold off on believing this till I see it with my own eyes. I've been fooled by Telltale far too many times to take their words on anything.
And why is it that they talk to fans more on websites outside of their own forum? It's been dead q… [view original content]
Nothing is impossible. It may be that Clem could turn into the same or atleast simillar psychological situation, but I actually doubt it. Loosing friends is something else than loosing their kid and wife/husband. To that everyone handles such situations different and I think Clementine is alot more different than Kenny. For example, she is harder and more of a fighter. Sure, she has changed since the last time we saw her, when she was about 11 years old. But alot of things, that we don't know yet happened after that. Kenny didn't change in that way, not at all actually. He just was broken after the death of his family and girlfriend. He didn't become harder after that, only traumatized. Compared to Clem, he is soft and easy to break (I don't mean this in the bad way, I'm just explaining my theory). Clem is the opposite of that, so there is a quite big chance that she wont get such a breakdown like Kenny and freak out at everyone.
I don't see how it can be misinterpreted. Chuck was talking about the need of teaching Clementine to defend herself. Either way, decide whatever you want, I made my point based on facts.
So you do. Good, cause the way some people use that quote basically amounts to "if you're not an out-and-out badass, stoic to the point of barely showing your sorrow, and/or an unapologetic asshole to the people around you, you deserve whatever happens to you." Hmph--how base.

I saw a link on reddit about a guy who said we WILL see hints of our Clem in the next episodes. Hopefully he wasn't lying.
Found it.

She stole from Arvo in many playthroughs. She also puts the candy bar back if you appeal to her love for family.
She would never lie to anyone.
She lies to Hershel and says she knows Lee. She hides the truth from Lee about the stranger until it is far too late. She can determinately lie about Matthew and cover for Nick in front of the cabin group. So while it isn't something she is fond of doing, she does seem to lie if she feels like she has to.
She would never kill a person and make someone to lie for her.
She can kill the stranger in order to protect Lee. She can kill Kenny in order to protect Jane. And she didn't even mean to kill Eli, as evidenced by her "oh my god" reaction. They were faulty bullets, she didn't expect them to work.
She would never curse that much.
She is prone to cursing if Lee said "shit" in s1e1, and she spent time amid many adults including foul-mouthed Kenny and Jane.
Clementine now is such a stoic character with absolutly no sense of humour at all.
I dont know how she is still liked so much. But hey at least she is someone we know and have feelings for.

I summon @mostlypoptarts and @kenjisalk!
I've seen people spam that quote without really understanding the original meaning and context of it.
I think most if not all telltale staff is going to stay far away from the forums for a good while.

No.
No, please.
Kenny is finally, finally gone for good.
Don't do this to me, Telltale.
Same reason Kenny got so much screentime: Nostalgia.
Good lord what is that
