Should I redo with imported saves?

So now I saw that post with the Reddit quote on TellTale, that if you import your save you get 100% of your choices back, but s this you only get 42 strting points.

Do you think it will make any difference at all?

At first the game bugged and didnt let me import my save, so I used the story generator, but now I'm kind unsure about this, as they said this...

What to do now?.. xd

    I imported on the PS4, should have got the Kenny flashback, but I received the alone one, so . . .

    I recommend so.

    I recognize my Clem from my previous S1 and S2 saves, mixed up with her own baggage of two years.

    I also got the appropriate flashback (since I went with Kenny instead of staying at Wellington).
