"Not quite there."
At the end of Season 2, IGN had an interview with TellTale directors Sean Ainsworth and Dennis Lenart, in which one of the topics of discussion was the endings of the Season which eventually drifted on to talking about baby AJ. Both of the IGN panellists were in the position of not wanting or caring for them and wanting to leave him behind. When asking the directors for their reasoning for why this wasn't included, they responded with this comment which got some attention after the initial release:

(For those who don't get the video working:)
"What we ended up coming to was that Clementine isn't... Really in 'that place' at this point, still... Like even after all that stuff, I - you know, I think we just kinda landed on the fact that she's, just still not quite there, erm... So, who knows."
"Gotta leave some room for Season 3, right? [Laughter]"
Considering what glimpses of her we've seen in the last two episodes of Season 3, how do you think Clementine fits in this perspective of being in "that place?" Do you think from what we've seen that she'd be capable of leaving AJ for dead? Does this mean that Clementine still has further to fall and should we expect to see this in the next episodes?

Seeing telltales track record who knows.
is Dennis and Sean part of Season 3?
Dennis Lenart is credited as a Creative Lead in Ties That Bind parts 1 & 2. Sean seemingly isn't.
I hope Sean is involved. He was a huge force in S1 and 2. He even did voice for some of the bandits.
Oh definitely not. I think they probably contemplated the idea though
