Was clementine not thinking
So I couldn't help but think the whole time clementine was telling Javier she's part of new frontier why is she saying this in a tunnel with the entire group right in front of them to hear her? And also Conrad was just standing at the door when she was finishing the story. What made clementine feel that was the best moment to tell him? I understand they didn't have much time but then of all the times to do it

I'm pretty sure ALL OF US would've done the same thing, all things considering.
Like, we're on a time schedule, raised to be honest but cautious, and to always try to be your best even in dark times, I'm pretty sure the majority of us would've done the same thing if not a wee bit later.
I think the initial plan of Clementine was to just leave without saying a word at the beginning, but something made her change her mind after that flashback.
My theory is that Clem and Javier helped out each other all the time(determinant) and maybe Ava helped out Clem too. So, it reminded Clem that it was a right thing to do to say the truth to people who help you out. So, why not now?
Also, Javi kinda was/is a leader of this group. So, she thought that being open to him was enough for her to leave safely and without any bad blood between everyone else.
