What's depressing here is that if you save Clementine (assuming that this is from Javier's perspective) considering the relationship between the two as shown in flashbacks, Clementine would probably hate you forever for it.
I would still pick Clementine. Javi still knows who she is more and I as a player care about her more than AJ.
It would be interesting to see the ramifications of this choice if it turns out that both Clementine and AJ survived the choice though, to see how Clementine would react to you choosing to help her over the baby.
I would find it more interesting and comical than sad if clementine became determinant.
If you pick Clem she would hate you forever and leave your ass as soon as the opportunity comes.
Until she died like every determinant character.
If clementine turns determinate she is as good as dead let's be honest
If they become determinant they're both dead.
