How I wish season 2 was done
In the premiere episode, I would've had the two figures at the end of season one turn out to be bad people like Winston and Victor and have Clementine be going through hell and trying to escape. Eventually she escapes from the group, getting most of them killed in the process and then have her traveling on her own for a little bit, running into the dog, etc. In this scenario, Sam would stay with Clementine until episode 2 when she runs into not only Kenny and his group, but Christa and Omid as well. And Christa is now extremely pregnant.
Episode two would be played out similarly to the actual episode, but Sam would tragically get killed during the walker ambush and they would get kidnapped by Carver's group who basically kidnaps people for slave labor.
A lot of episode 3 would play similarly to the plot of the original but it would be a good bit longer. Christa would give birth to the baby in this episode. After the baby is born, we have a time skip two years later to reveal everyone is still stuck there working but they're all pretty tired and miserable. Something would happen to throw them all over the edge and then this is when the herd would roll through. The group escapes with maybe a few casualties.
Episode 4 would focus on the group traveling to the rumored settlement of Wellington. This episode could be rather fillerish but necessary for the plot to progress. Eventually towards the end, they reach Wellington and are accepted into the community after being carefully screened. The cliffhanger however would be Carver and survivors from his group discovering them at Wellington and preparing for an attack.
Episode 5 would basically be Issue 48 of the comic series which is all-out, batshit insane war. In this episode, most of the survivors on both sides would suffer heavy casualties. I'm thinking Carver, his crew, Kenny, and Christa would die here. Wellington would come out victorious though but due to the loss of life and overall damage, Clementine, Omid, the child, and maybe one or two other survivors decide to leave and decide that their best bet of survival is by staying on the road and looking out for each other because true family is the ones who have survived through this the longest.
Season Three I would have Omid and Clementine be the playable protagonists but equaled out more like in Tales from the Borderlands. Omid would now be darker and more survivalist and Clementine would be similar to her season three counterpart. I guess we'll have to wait and see how season 3 turns out but this was my overall idea for how I would've liked season 2 to be instead of the rather meh season we got. I also think it's better to have character survive over multiple seasons and episodes so we can get attached to them before they go. That's why I saved most of the season one characters deaths until the finale of the second season. Let me know what you guys think. I know it's too little, too late but still.

I apologize but I put a lot of thought into this post and it was rather late at night and that's why I think no one gave it much attention. I guess it'd be the ironic thing to get banned for caring about this series.
It's just that usually mods close the discussion down when you bumb...
Well I guess I'd sooner it be shut down than just left behind without a chance. And I didn't really want to make another thread and just copy/paste what I wrote here. I felt like that'd be a waste. If I get in trouble, so be it. But I only did this because I care and want to talk about it.
Season 2 was great until E3, then it went down hill.
I guess you wrote too much about an already discussed subject, many people won't bother to read.
Yeah at this point you're probably right. Oh well. I thought season 2 was decent until 3 as well and it went downhill fast.
