Who else has made Wellington their canon ending to Season 2 ?

  • So you're saying the endings had little weight on Season 3 other than flashbacks and some dialogue? On that I can agree. However, it doesn't matter how little they change her, they still happened. Saying the Alone ending is canon is saying that no matter what happens in your game, Clementine killed/left Kenny and Jane and experienced the flashback that goes with the ending. That may not be what you meant, but that's what that means.

I'm on about the flashbacks. The season 3 flashbacks had no thought in them. They were five minute rush jobs. I never once said they didn't

  • Lol true that.

Cannon and true ending: Kenny is off somewhere on a boat with clem fishing

  • Clem has a scar from being grazed by a bullet in the wellington flashback. In the Kenny flashback Clem gets a scar on her forehead

Huh? I thought you get the scar if you choose to go with Kenny. My Clem stayed at Wellington and has no scar as far as I know.

  • Believe

    Just do it !!

It's my ending, and yeah maybe Kenny's alive in that somewhere although I somewhat doubt it...

  • I see, thanks. Shouldn't play at 2 a.m. next time.

Basically I like to imagine the story differently than most.

In S2, there would have been a leader of Arvo's group that would have carefully grabbed Clementine to be a hostage so that Jane would return their supplies. Clem then could have gotten to know Arvo better. Then at a warehouse, the group would have been ambushed by walkers and there would have been a moment were you must decide to go with Kenny or Jane. Whoever Clem didn't go with would run away and never be seen again. Clem and Jane or Kenny would have arrived at Wellington after some emotional bonding.

In S3 I would have wrote David as an interesting bad guy, but not evil. He has good intentions yet he isn't afraid of letting some people die in towns that he is conquering. He would have used his high ranking military status and influence do the talking. He would be fascinated by Augustus Caesar and that would be his role model. The New Frontier would be a model of Rome. Finally we would have a bad guy that isn't entirely bad. He could then raise Clem and be her mentor. We could see the good of New Frontier from her point of view and on the other side, Javier would see the bad side of things and he would try to reason with his brother to show mercy. David would tell his brother that he is next in line to rule and he needs to grow some balls.

In my opinion, Wellington should have been the only ending to S2 were Jane or Kenny would tell her that she must stay and if she refuses, they tell the guards to drag her inside while she is kicking and screaming. Then, years later, David gives her hope that he won't abandon her as she still feels betrayed by Kenny or Jane.

  • I hope that you don't regret this if it gets better lol.

I didn't change my save. I did something better: sent my game back to the store.

  • Believe me, I won't. Because it won't get better.

I hope that you don't regret this if it gets better lol.

There's something very satisfying about the way Kenny simply disappears from Clementine's life forever as he walks into the distance. The Wellington ending allows his fate to be permanently enshrouded in mystery.

Wellington was the best ending for Kenny. Completely in character. Also at least the only ending where (until now) Telltale won't force me into an unrealistic death. My Kenny went alone, and is MIA. I can live with that.
