The reason there's no "Next time on" segment.

The recent interview that has been blowing up on this forum revealed that they keep rewriting stuff, which is most likely the reason there's no "next time on" segment. I'm sure people have figured this out but I'm just telling you all just in case.

  • most times their 'next time on...' isn't accurate for me anyway.

  • But it shows us they have a general direction they want to take the story in. Here we just know Telltale doesn't know what to do.

That makes sense. Still kind of a bummer though lol, I remember when I'd try to analyze the hell out of the "next time" sequences to try and figure out where the story was going. Like @nightshy said though, they weren't always on the mark.

If they were to have done one, I'd think it'd have something to do with us in their camp, maybe with David getting angry because of A) Mariana, B. Kate (either the gunshot wound, or he finds out you may have done the romance option), or C) Long-fueled tensions between him and Javi, with the two of them arguing over their split after David took their mom to the hospital, etc.

Maybe throw in another segment on this Ava person, and leave the fate of AJ and Elanor a secret until we play the episode. Throw in a finishing cliffhanger somehow, and presto! "Next time" completed.

  • yeah. that's true.

  • I thought from the very beginning they had no direction or structure for this product which to me was shown in episode 1 and 2. The Melissa interview furthers proves that. This is part in why telltale should not make a 4th installment.

  • Telltale Games have done more harm than good, that's for sure. They should really reconsider things going forward, as you said.

  • Okay, at this point I'm convinced that people are actively trying to find things wrong with the game. You're reading way too much into this.
