Jesus Christ, it's true that people can't say anything these days without getting offended. I thought it was just Facebook and YouTube, looks like it's here too.
First of all the "boys" comment was not in any way intended to be calling you children at all. Boys, Girls, Men, Women, you are people. Maybe i should have said guys or ladies or whoever, perhaps the truth about the new game came off as too strong for you in which case I apologise for hurting your feelings but i meant nothing by that comment at all.
I didn't imply you "weren't" an original fan, i said most of "us" original fans had, had enough. Please don't jump to assumptions because this is a sure way to start an unneeded argument. You like this game. Brilliant, fantastic, wonderful! That is absolutely fine and i am glad you do. But i do not and all i did was put input into why it's not good.
You implied that I wasn't an original fan and made it seem like your opinion was more valid than mine. Plus you referred to me and others as "boys" as if we're children.
#TelltaleIsOver
Anyway, just wanting to know what's going on, and why some of you are trying to give Telltale a hard time.
Because what they're doing is making their games lose quality.
I sometimes felt like 2 hours was too long to get a game/episode completed. Besides, it made it lose its touch at two hours. At one hour they're able to fit just plot in and (depending on said plot) it can make you wonder wtf happens next with the shortness.
I don't look at shortness as a negative. I look at it like a positive; making me look forward to what happens next
It's not just that ANF is bad, it's that TellTale is completely lazy with it and they aren't afraid to show it, apparently. The character development is 0, we get hardly a backstory on 90% of characters in the game, the episodes are significantly shorter than they were in their previous games, and TellTale kills of a little girl in episode 1 for a pathetic attempt at shocking everyone. And that's another thing. They try to end episode 1 and 2 off in ways that just don't work. You can't kill a character that we haven't known for more than 50 mins and expect people to be shocked, it doesn't work like that. And after that the cliffhanger with David being the leader of The New Frontier. Woow cool, it's someone we kinda got to know for 10 minutes who we care 0 about just like Javi's whole family. It's lazy, and if TellTale continues like this then they are going to die.
Jane's death, IMO stayed true to her character too
I respectfully disagree with this. She killed herself. Took the easy way out and left a little girl alone with a baby. What a pathetic way to kill off someone who was all about survival in the previous season.
I also know about the reusing of files and models etc.. So what? It helped them get the game out abit quicker
This shows extra laziness. They were so desperate for money that making the episodes 40 minutes shorter didn't cut enough development time down so they did this. Ok.

Welcome to fandom in the 21st Century. The internet has given every entitled bully a megaphone. Fandom has become a toxic thing.

Not for me it's not. It's just a game.
