Determinant Choice: Wonder what the dialogue was like when Clem and Tripp had that "little talk"?
Based on the choice if you had told Tripp that Clem's gunshot was an accident, Tripp decided to have a talk with Clem alone. The talk was offscreen due to the fact the narrative is from Javi's perspective.
The only thing that we know what was implied from the offscreen conversation was when Clem had told Javi that "He's letting us leave once the herd passes." And when Tripp had said "Oh, I'm gonna do more than that. I'm gonna high tail you two to the junkyard myself. Cause frankly, i don't want her anywhere near this town."
It would have been very interesting if Telltale had shown the "little talk" between Clem and Tripp. Just imagine if you're Tripp. You're the leader of a town that is surrounded by the herd. Your town has no juvenile facility to handle young troublemakers and now you got an outsider who happens to be a thirteen year old who had just killed your gun merchant. What else does Tripp have to say to Clem? We know about the disciplinary measures he had given to Clem but was the conversation more than just explaining the terms of punishment to Clem? Did he give her any moral advice knowing that she has no parental guidance?
Tripp: "Look I know you're young and you have lost everyone who had given a shit about you, but you can't go trigger happy when you're in someone's town. GODDAMN IT MY TOWN! Because then no one is going to give a shit about you even if you're a little girl! And right now I don't give a shit about you!"
Any idea what the dialogue was like when Tripp was punishing Clem?
