Why would that family steal haf´lf if theur supplies?
In Jane's flashback we learn that the family(Randy, Patricia and Gill) we either let in or refuse to let in will steal half of our food either way. If we refuse to let them in it's clear why they do that, they have to in order to survive. However if we let them in why do they steal the food? What's your thoughts on that? Why would they do that instead of staying there?

Why do millionaires embezzle...why does the handsome guy always get the girl...and why are spaceships shaped like giant cocks....it's destiny @CarlGotKennyd Destiny...also they were assholes.
cos it's telltale
our choices don't matter
etc
Choices matter
That would require more voice acting, modeling, animation, and other people that Clem would be with once Jane died, so that is no bueno.
If I were to guess, I'd think that Jane and Clem might've gotten increasingly anxious about Randy in particular, and with his family to protect, I'd imagine that he'd want his wife and son to have more food than what the two girls had originally planned out to last. Maybe arguments boiled out, and in the middle of the night, the family might've had enough and snuck out; taking a bunch of the supplies with them.
Kind of like the season 1 situation.
They simply weren't good people. That's all there is to it.
As Jane puts it:
"People are nice until they get hungry too. Then they're not so nice anymore."
I think they just saw the two girls with the baby as easy targets the moment they laid eyes on then.
If you let them in, they just played along and got some free meals for a bit before stealing food in order ti improve their chances. If you turned them away they probably stole out of a grudge just as much as desperation.
I'm disappointed though because i expected them to actually be in the flashbacks and for the choice to let them stay to be of more consequence than just one line of dialogue.
I feel like it was Jane's fault. I feel that she didn't want to share because it was their food and not Randy's. And she just got selfish.
Because the story is tailored to how we play.
Because the game demands it---ah fuck it.
Because it's a Telltale game.
I thought that it was kind of a cop out on the part of TT. They have the family steal either way so that there's a reason that the family is no longer with you in S3. Lazy writing.
Lmao Vasquez
Because telltale got lazy and didn't want to put any effort in the story.
