my updated ANF review. a calmed, non pissed-off rant-review.

well the title says it all. ive now watched both episodes and have been calmed and i think it went into this with a rational mind.

so my thoughts are, that's its been average. the dialog, im not an expert, but its just really not engaging, it's kinda boring. the character are meh, i kinda like some of them but they are kinda all cliche and some of the situations they are in are cliche. i liked some parts, but i just really think that this engine isnt cutting it anymore, sometimes some of the sequences are cool but how the same old engine goes kinda ruins the experience, or just limits it. or maybe its because im not playing it, but when i first watched TFTBL, i didnt get it when it came out, i felt engaged, i felt the action. this lacks almost all of that.

some of the voice acting could be better, again feel like i say this too much, but some of the voices just dont fit to some of the characters, im sure there's some good latino VA's in San Rafael.. i mean its California. too much of the shit i hate from the show too, like fucking walkers just appering out of nowhere as they cannot be heard of seen from a distance until they're on a deathly distance. hate that.

so yeah, its been average, not as bad as when i lost my shit over a very badly handled death in the first ep, but yeah most of the issues are basic things that made, imo the first one great, heck even S2, loved the first 2 episodes and liked the rest. 6.5/10. hope the season improves much more.
