  • Nope did not end up kissing Kate. I pulled my hand away when David was coming in the kitchen after she broke the coffee cup. But I did take blame for it. I just felt and it was wrong and inappropriate. Even though Its a game. And so far I'm glad to my choices. Because the ending to the episode 2. Should hopefully put me in good terms with David. But I also feel that due to his violence and rage and temper. And the death of his daughter. Javier will either have to run or take David out.

You maybe got a point cus in some Countries if some one got disappear for a year According to the law of those Countries the person Considered dead and if he have a wife his wife Considered a widow and she can Marry another person but if her Husband showed up alive she back to him

  • Telltale keeps forcing the player to get intimate with her. Doesn't give you many options to just shoot her down, which is pretty bullshit. You know you're going to get blamed when David finds out.

  • 5 years later and you think he's magically gonna come back in the picture?

Yeah, I know he does, but that's a fucking miracle and not a realistic expectation.

Maybe you should take some statistic classes.

  • Nah, I want to play Javier as a respectful guy that can still cling to his humanity and good morals even if at times he may lose his way. So at most, I playfully have the two of them flirt through jokes. But in my mind it's just a way of having a taste of what they may desire, but not cross the line and respect David (although I assumed he was dead). Maybe I'm putting too much imagination into it...

  • I did. I'm a sucker for a romance.

  • edited January 2017

    No i didn't.
I rejected all of the romance attempts in this season, even with Eleanor, i think the nicest thing i said to Kate in terms of "shaping with her" was when i told her to blame me when she broke David's glass.

besides, David's death was unconfirmed, yeah i know its four years but still it's unconfirmed, so i think it's not the smartest idea to shape it up with your brother's wife.

but generally idk i just dont want to get into things like that, my Javi is a respectful man and I'm just not interested in it, and i think I'll still avoid it if similar attempts came in the future.

No. i did not kiss her. Shes my damn brothers wife, why would i? Its your BROTHERS wife. there no way to put it differently. anyway in terms of romance, i'd prefer it to be with Elenaor. Shes fine and aint in anyway close to me to start with.

What i did do with kate wa teased her as a joke"Wanna Pull Over?", but thats it, unless you count smoking the ganja one too, then i did that but that had no romance tension in that.

If i did have a choice which seems slightly unlikely- because there really forcing us in to Kate, then id beat. id beat and delete. but i dont see them giving us a choice as maybe theyll make Elenaor a traitor or someething then have a classic option of doing your ting with kate or declining as its much more less complicated than Kate or elenaor. Anyway with how most the choices didnt matter, id be suprised if they made this matter ha. There going to force us

    I...well...I sort of...

    (sigh)

    Yes.

She's a gorgeous stoner chick that doesn't seem to like kids too much and that attracted me/roped me in. Although, when she broke the glass, I didn't hold onto her hands when she pulled mine back with that tough to resist, dreamy look in her eyes. All she had to say was "Hey Javi, my favorite band is Pink Floyd, what's yours" and my pants would have been off in an instant.

However, I didn't think the shitty plottwist of David being The New Frontier leader was gonna happen so I sorta just said fuck it and went for it. But OF FUCKING COURSE my choice was gonna come back to bite me in the ass. I refuse to rewind first time canon playthroughs, so I'm just gonna bite the bullet and take responsibility for what I did.

    BRING IT, DAVID!

    Fuck. He brought it...

  • yea boiiiiiiii.

i love kate and i just want her to be happy and if that's with javier then so be it.

also let alone, i really don't care for david so he can get cucked for all i care.

  • I'm curious, if the topic of you and Kate comes up in EP3 what would you do? Like if David asked you to end it would you?

  • On my first playthrough, I considered it, but then I decided against it.

  • Look, some people will look for every attempt they can for relationships in a game, it's quite disgusting because many do the same for Clem too, thankfully that's not as popular though.

I'm surprised how many people see something morally wrong with it. We're 4 years in the apocalypse now? Even if the person was still alive, the chances of ever finding them again would be incredibly low.

  • I don't get it either. The most common objection seems to be the "Bro Code". Which is ridiculous after four years of David missing.

  • For me, it just didn't feel right in the moment because I didn't feel like I got enough of an indication of a relationship between them. It felt too new and untested to me. If they started off acting like a couple from the jump, and the kids were okay with it, then I would have no problem with it.

They might actually be okay with it. There's a scene where Gabe says he finds it annoying when parents think their kids can't hear them. It was Kate and Javier talking.

Though that might be a general complaint from him.

  • Nah, it seemed Mariana (dead now) and Gabe treated them like parents, but I wonder how Gabe will react with David, I honestly just hate Gabe as a character so I'd rather him leave with David (or die honorably to redeem his so far annoying character).

Yes, I thought David was dead and it was implied that Javier and Kate had already been in a relationship. I'm not pro-cheating either, if that's even a thing. In the past where David was still around I let go of Kate, that would have been very bad. This whole thing with David will be a shitshow, if he hasn't moved on I guess I'll let them be together again, no objections here.

  • oh my goodness it would! xD

I feel like "Hello darkness, my old friend" would fit this really well

  • I bet we're gonna learn more about what happened to David. I can say it's not really cheating if the guy is missing/ assumed dead.

  • Javi's gay in my story, so he didn't kiss her. :P

On a serious note, I'm with the "Bro Code" team. Still doesn't feel right even if her husband was really missing/dead. She's his sister in-law after all so it feels like kissing your own sister, anyone else feels like this as well? :/

Was this just another way of saying "these girls should screw off, they're all too horny"? Also yeah I didn't want to cuck David, it would feel wrong if I did.

Told her it was a gun in my pocket. ;)

  • Oh man, that's a tough one.

I guess since he's my brother, I would.

But if he treats his group like shit and Kate pulls through then nah, fuck 'em.

  • I mean, it is David's second wife, so its possible David and Kate have only been married for like 2 years when the outbreak happened. Then we get like nice and romantic soap opera-y

The moment I saw her eyes, I knew it was meant for us to be, not my brother, and I could tell she knew it too. But what was there for me to do? This was the world we lived in, and there was nothing we do to change it. Or could we?

Also side note, I hope we find out what happened to David's first wife, if Im honest I think she may have died.

That's assuming two things. That he's there, which David is not, and that they're together. Which they might not be if he split off from the group at some point rather than him being missing since the beginning of the apocalypse four years ago.

And if he's been missing . . . It's been four years. Javier and Kate don't know if he's alive or dead.
