Questions regarding season 3 itself
Will they go back to making us wait 3+ months for a new episode?
i certainly hope not, itd probably just turn me off from the games choices, 1-2 months per episode seems amazing and since its their most loved series and the series that made telltale more known i was expecting theyd have at least more time dedicated to it and smaller waiting times between episodes
(Question for you guys) do you guys treat clem as you were a lee reincarnated? Or just as some girl who you ran into? Personally to seperate myself from thinking like lee i put javiers family first rather than trying to protect clem.
Do you guys like gabe? I thought he was pretty alright, going through puberty is hard enough and certainly not easy with zombies so i like how they made his character but many seem to hate gabe and all i can understand is they think hes whiny.
Did you try to get with your brothers girlfriend? (I forgot their names since its been like a month without a new episode and 1 and 2 were basically just 1 episode)
If you guys had to pick between waiting a year for them to rewrite the kenny/jane or just simply leave their deaths as is which would you rather have them do?
Im curious to see what you guys think about all this

This is gonna be a bit of a mouthful, but I'll try my best xD
I could see it happening for the three month wait period, at least for this coming episode since they'd released two of them on the same day. As for 4 and 5? I honestly wouldn't mind waiting if they took the time to really extend the episode length, provide a solid story and give us much more character development. I think one of the problems is that they're riding off of the success of the past two seasons (mainly the first, but I thought the second was good, too), and are sending the episodes out with less content in the hopes that people will buy it off the name alone, but I don't think you want to turn this into that kind of discussion, so I'll cut it.
It's difficult for me to bring myself to care about anyone (even Javi himself, poor guy) as much as I care about Clem. We've got such a huge history with the girl now, watched her grow up, tried to shape her into the person we wanted her to be, etc. that unfortunately I tend to bias a lot of my decisions towards her. Don't get me wrong - role playing as Javier would certainly be an awesome choice, but I just can't bring myself to do it. I do that with some of the choices in the previous seasons though, too - for example, I can't ever bring myself to help Kenny in the meat locker situation. I just can't do it, regardless if it's still only a video game or not.
But back to Javi's family... as much as I tend to favour Clem, I don't think that all of the decisions where I end up agreeing with her end up putting Javi's family in harm's way necessarily. Staying behind with her to fight the guys who shot Mariana means that not only do you end up killing some of the men responsible for her death, but you even get to bury her this way. Sure, Kate was still alive and should've also been a priority, but she was in good hands with Elanor and also gave Gabe some much-needed development.
Speaking of Gabe... I don't really know what to think of him yet. Puberty's a bitch sometimes, and although I can understand why people would be annoyed at him (after all, who really wants an angst-filled teen along in a video game?), I think he's given a little too much undeserved hate. Not everyone could grow up like Clementine did, and honestly, having Gabe acting this way makes sense in a way. I just wish they'd showed us what happened with them all in the "Mystery Machine" of a van and how they survived for four years. You'd think Javier or Kate would've taught him how to properly defend himself by now.
I did try to get Javi with Kate, since it was pretty obvious that she was into him, but now I feel kinda weirded out by it haha. It really feels like the Rick-Shane scenario from the main series, and although I absolutely loved Shane's character on the show, I hope they don't take that exact same route in the game. I'm sure it'll happen though, cuz, y'know... drama, but I might go back and change it.
It's hard to say anything about the Kenny/Jane topic that hasn't already been discussed to death at this point. The both of them were massive characters, and definitely deserved a far better treatment in season 3 than what they got. But for them to turn around and rewrite it after all of this? That might backfire a little bit. I'd love to end up getting more scenes with the both of them, since I loved Sir Boats-a-Lot in season 1 and revered the mighty Queen Jane in season 2, but changing their fates... I dunno. I certainly wouldn't be against the idea, but it might just add fuel to the fire by making Telltale look as though they're not confident enough in their storytelling. So I'm kind of torn.
I wouldn't say "Lee reincarnated", but my choices did ultimately sway in her favor. And even then, a little voice in the back of my mind was telling me that from a storytelling standpoint, Javi was being way too trusting of her under my guidance. Oh well.
I don't have any real problem with him but I don't have any affection towards him either. I wouldn't have been too gutted if he had died and Mariana survived. I actually liked her.
I avoided it for the most part on my first/current "official" playthrough. Figured it would only lead to problems. On subsequent playthroughs, I went ahead and chose differently, partly because I wanted to see what changed, if anything (I know, I'm so naive), and mostly because Kate's a babe.
I assume the tradeoff here is that the rewrites would put the season on hold? If that was the case, I'd prefer the deaths be left as is. But then, I'm not exactly un-biased about this.
I treat her as Clementine. She is her own person
I don't really care about him to like or dislike him. He's just there
No. I'm not sure it'll make much a difference but I in no way expressed interest in Kate
What's done is done. I sort of expected it so I'm not going to dwell on it. Personally I'd love to write for Telltale or be a part of the writing team.
As a girl I run into, even though I'm playing nice with her and thrusting her. She just seems shady and her story has contradictions from what we've learned from Jesus.
I kinda like him. He's very emotional right now but he's also a clean slate, one that can still be carved by Javi's influence.
Puberty for me wasn't that bad, but having younger brother I noticed how unstable emotionally you could be going through puberty on top of being camped in a van with your family for years on end.
I feel a lot of sympathy for him and understand where his character stand. I especially loved how he does try to protect Javier when the other guy was being confrontational. He really loves his family but isn't coping as well as many would like him to be.
That woman is thirsty for Javier. But then again every woman seems to be thirsting some of that Mexican spice.
Correction they were actually married.
Episode one I tried to be cool about it. But when we got to the junk yard when she asked if Javier just had a gun in his pocket.
I just went in and tongue her. I really liker Javi to be with Eleanor, idk why but I am loving her so much.
Que sera, sera. I don't have a problem with the fate of kenny/jane.
