How did Javier get knocked out?
You have a choice in episode 1 to go with Tripp or to stay with Clementine. I stayed. But my question is: How did Javier get knocked out? If the bomb did it, how wasn't Clementime knocked out. She was right beside Javier. I don't think anyone of The new frontier knocked him out. Because they would've shot him or t least took him. So it doesnt make any sense? Does anyone know this?

I'd assume that he falls pretty hard on his head. Not much more to it than that.
But how did he fall? He onlt threw a bomb and then...
Maybe Clems cover took the brunt of the force when it exploded. Javier was just standing out in the open. Also,
The blast radius could've knocked him back.
It wasn't a grenade but a flashbang. These work by emitting a very sharp but strong flash of light along with a loud sound, deafening and blinding the person. My guess is that Javier just fell down and hit his head. What this theory doesn't account for is that the bandits would still have time to kill Java and Clem, even if Clem was blinded for only 10 seconds. However most flashbangs blind the person for a full minute.
Hell, I didn't stay with Clementine or go with Tripp. I went with Eleanor.
Javier gets knocked out multiple times in the game. He probably fakes it, because he doesnt get much sleep and it's a good excuse to rest his eyes for a bit.
It was a plot grenade. It's deployed during combat to create an easy transition route.
He got hit by the plot.
