What happened too...
Ya-ya and Hector as they have no fate yet... At least have some dialogue to confirm their fates, but no Telltale didn't. They are both bit, most likely Ya-ya is dead as she got bit on the cheek, you cannot remove the cheek. But with Hector, there are so many possibilities what happened to him...
Maybe in episode 3, David at his community has Ya-ya as a walker?
Maybe Javier confirms in the upcoming episodes that, Hector turned and Kate killed him?

Who are they again?
They both got bitten. So it is very easy or rather extremely correct to assume that they are both dead and gone.
Unless David is sick enough to keep his decaying zombie mother over four years.
That or they joined Nicolas and Gleen under the dumpster. I just have to make that joke.

Ya-Ya is definitely dead. A bite to the face isn't something you can recover from. It's just inevitable death from there.
With Hector, there is absolutely no way he amputated his arm in time to live. That would imply that Hector had the knowledge of amputation working in the first place. It was way too early into the outbreak for him to know that.

Well they're both most likely dead as it's too early in the outbreak for them to know that a bite is lethal and you can save yourself by cutting off a limb. Especially since I don't really see David cutting part of his mother's face off.
I think we could see Hector in another flashback. I don't think we'll see a flashback of David so he'll probably just tell us what happened.
Javi's mom is definitely dead, Hector is too. The out break just happened, they dont know what to do, so they wouldnt know to cut off his hand.
Well, if Clem can surprise the cabin group with having a dog bite instead of a walker bite, and Telltale can surprise us with how hyped they can get us and still be crushingly inept with TWD despite doing well with their other games, I think we might have a surprise with Hector and the bite (like it not being a walker bite or that he's immune but separated/dead).
Ya-ya is Javier's mother and Hector is Javier's uncle if I'm not wrong.
