Actual criticisms

Since people were getting mad at me for my last post. Here are some actual criticisms for there newer games. Let's see, the new engine is slower, they kill characters off to quickly in Walking Dead now, episodes are shorter, can't rewind in Walking Dead so you have to start over an episode, and some of the subtitles aren't exact to what they are saying. There you go. I still like their newer games but they could definitely improve.

  • Lol most of the criticisms were for Walking Dead and I actually like that more than Batman.

  • I haven't played Season 3 yet.

But one thing that bugged me in Season 2 that I hoped they fixed in Season 3 is more optional interaction with the characters.

Throughout the whole series of Season 1, you grew to connect with the characters you met with. Even if the choices didn't matter too much, you still had that illusion of choice that made you connect. Illusion of choice is powerful in that sense.

I'd like the option to get to know the character more through optional dialogue, instead of long scenes of them just talking. It makes conversations feel more alive than forced, expanding the illusion of choice.

In season 1 you didn't HAVE to learn that Duck was almost kidnapped. You didn't have to learn about Kenny's boat in the first episode. you didn't HAVE to learn that Katjaa was a vet or that Lily was in the Air Force. And that's what I liked about it.

  • Just saying they don't. In fact they give you less time to walk around.

  • Nobody was getting mad at you, it's just that we've seen the nitpicking before. We were making joking snarky remarks for the laugh of it at this point because it had been seen a lot recently. In fact my comment was really just targeted towards the dozens of other nitpicking threads. Your thread has a right to be there because the quality of the menus can be a genuine concern, I just felt like the point would've gotten across just as much with a comment, but that's me. What do I know?
