The Walking Dead: A New Frontier - Stories (Story 4) (A Javier's Short Story)
This is my Fourth story on The Walking Dead: A New Frontier Game.
In these threads, I give my point of view for untold parts of the above game's story/backstory.
These are all Short stories.
I apologise for any grammatical or syntax error.
The Hospital

Javier was in the car with Kate driving to the nearby hospital. Marianna was crying and
Gabriel was shocked. Hector was speechless at that moment.
The highway was blocked, so they had to take a detour.
(Javier) -Come on, Kate! Drive faster!
(Kate) -Hey, Javi, you know that I can't speed up in here. The speed limit here says 60 km/h!
(Javier) -Yeah I know, but we have to hurry! Mama was really hurt and I want to know if she
is okay!
(Kate) -She has David with her. He won't let her down, don't worry.
(Javier) -Ok, you're right, but, please, hurry!
Javier was really worried about his mother's health. She was bitten by her own husband when
he "came back from the dead". Noone, actually, knew what had happened with papa, but everyone
knew that he was dead, now. Javier had taken care of him.
(Javier) -Oh my god! How did this happen? You said that my dad was gone, but how did he come
back?
(Hector) -Noone knows why he was alive, Javi. We saw him dying. We dodn't know why that happened.
(Kate) -He's saying the truth, Javi. We didn't know anything about this.
(Javier) -Oh god, oh god, oh god... I'm so sorry, papa... Why is this happening to us?
Noone had the answer on that question. Noone could have known that an aacident in a nuclear
factory had released a radioactive gas all over the country and that every minute that passed
it was spreading around the globe. Noone could have known that when you breathe the gas you
become infected and when you die, for any kind of reason, oryou're bitten by "them", you come
back as one of "them".
After a few minutes, they arrived at the hospital that David had gone with his mother.
David's car was there. Javier got out of Kate's car and ran into the hospital.
(Kate) -Javi, Wait!
(Hector) -Let him go, Kate. We'll catch up with him. Come on, kids. Let's go see yaya.
Gabriel didn't make a sound. Marianna came along, still crying.
(Kate) -Don't worry, hon'. Yaya is gonna be okay.
(Gabriel) -I hope that it's not too bad. ,Gabe decided to speak.
(Kate) -No it's just a little cut. You'll see.
(Hector) -Yeah, Gabe. Don't worry.
In the meantime, Javier have got into the hospital and he was searching the floors for
David and his mother. Strangely, the corridors were totally empty; the rooms too.
(Javier) -No, no ,no. Where are they?
(Kate) -Javi? What's happening? ,she said somewhere behind him.
(Kate) -... And where are the doctors? I don't see anyone in here.
(Javier) -That's the point! I don't know! Where could they be? DAVID! David, where are you? ,he yelled.
(Marianna) -I don't see anyone... Where could they have gone?
(Hector) -Maybe they saw the place like this and they went somewhere else, in a nearby hospital maybe.
(Javier) -On foot? The next hospital is 10 miles away from here!
Javier was really panicked. He didn't know what to do, now. He didn't know where to go look for them.
(Gabriel) -Maybe we should go look somewhere nearby. They couldn't have gone too far, right?
(Kate) -Gabe is right. Lets go search them outside.
(Javier) -Alright. Lets go.
Suddenly, Yaya appeared from the corner of a large corridor. She looked paler than before
and she still had the bite on her right cheek.
(Javier) -Mama! ,Javier said and ran towards his mother and hugged her.
She didn't move at all and she didn't speak.
(Javier) -I was so worried about you, mama. I'm sorry I didn't come with you and David; and where is David?
But she didn't answer.
(Javier) -Mama, are you alright?
All of a sudden, yaya attacked Javier and tried to bite him.
(Javier) -Ughhh... Oh, no! Not you too, mama! Guys, help! ,Hector and Kate went straight towards Javier
to help him stop his mother from bitting him. They put her on a wall and immobilized her as best as
they could.
(Kate) -Javi, what happened? Why is she acting like your father?
(Javier) -I don't know! I don't know what happened! I don't see David, either! Oh, fuck, what are
we gonna do?
(Hector) -Maybe we can just leave her here.
(Javier) -We can't leave her like this! She may want to hurt someone else, like she did to me; but
why is she acting like this?
Only questions and no answers. Noone knew anything about this situation. What they only knew
is that yaya was not there. That thing was not yaya.
(Marianna) -Javi? What are we gonna do? ,she said in tears.
(Gabriel) -Yeah, Javi, what are we gonna do with yaya?
(Javier) -I can't do this! I can't kill my mother, too! I can't do it! We should
leave her... ,Javier started crying.
This was a really shitty day for everyone; but he, eventually, stopped crying, swept his tears
and told the others to let yaya free. Yaya tried to attack them, but everyone ran away to the exit.
(Javier) -I can't believe this happened! I lost both of my parents on the same day!
Oh, god, this isn't happening...
(Kate) -I'm so sorry, Javi. We are all sorry for what happened; but we need to find David, now.
He may be around here, somewhere.
(Javier) -Thank you, Kate. I know, you're right. Let's go.
(Hector) -Let's get back to the house. David may have gone there.
(Javier) -Yeah, maybe. Let's go, now.
They got back to the car and Kate started the engine. As they were driving away Javier saw his
mother coming out of the hospital. She was walking pretty slow and her skin was pale. She was like
papa when he died.
(Javer) -Why, why, why did this happen? ,he said while hitting the car's dash.
Noone replied. Everyone was totally shocked about all this. They didn't know the answer to
Javier's question.
Hector didn't seem to fell so good.
(Marianna) -Hector? Are you okay?
(Hector) -Yes, don't worry about me, sweetie. Let's just find your dad, now.
Hector knew that he was bitten by papa, like yaya was. He knew that he was, probably, going
to end up like yaya; but he didn't want to say anything about it.
Javier knew that, too. He was worried about Hector, but he didn't want to think that
he was going to have the same "death" as his mother did.
(Javier) -Are you sure you feel alright, Hector? You don't seem so good.
(Hector) -No, no, I'm okay. Let's just go find David.
(Kate) -Yeah, I'm really worried about him. I hope he's okay.
(Gabriel) -I'm worried about my dad, too...
Javier was really worried about his brother but he tried to be optimistic.
The traffic on the road was worse, now.
And the sun was already rising.

Hey man I read all your fan fictions and I've got to say that they were awesome! I love how these stories explained things that A New Frontier didn't explain. Especially this one about Yaya and Hector both being bitten and what happened to them. I hope you continue these fan fictions because they're pretty good!

Yeah, this was my intention from the start; to write some parts of TWD: ANF 's backstory that wasn't been written (not yet, at least).
I'm now writing a "continuation" story about the "Clementine Alone" flashback but I don't really have enough ideas just yet (I have only written 2 pages by now). You can tell me your suggestions about backgrounds, new characters (though I'm trying not to present too many new characters because I want my stories to be linked to the TWD: ANF 's story) or even some events.
