Can I tell my parents?

Has it ever been confirmed what Clem means when she asks Lee if she can tell her parents... Ya know?
I cant work out what she means. Its not about shooting a gun because she can say it before you teach her?

  • Never understood either

  • I'm pretty sure it's about Lee being a murderer.

  • I'm pretty sure it's about everything they've gone through on the way like the Dairy.

  • I thought it was just about telling her parents that they would go to Savannah and look for them

  • Just to give them an update on what she'd been doing, I guess. It is kinda vague.

  • Maybe that Lee killed the babysitter?

  • She talks to her walkie talkie and pretends that she's actually talking to her parents to cope with reality. She mentions this at one point that she pretends to talk to her parents. She could also be talking to the Stranger and telling him that they were on their way to Savannah.

  • Now that you mention it, it is hard to figure out. But I always thought she meant telling them about Lee being a murderer. I checked the Wiki's synopsis of the episode, and it says that Clementine is talking about telling her parents about their new plan over the radio.

  • I always thought she wanted to tell her parents their plan for Savannah, since they had talked about it right beforehand.

  • Yeah but why would Lee say that it's not a good idea? (If you choose that option)

  • Because Lee didn't want Clem to pretend anymore, since he acknowledged the necessity of making a survivor out of a little girl. He wanted her to slowly put her imaginary conversations aside and focus on more important things.

Yeah but why would Lee say that it's not a good idea? (If you choose that option)

  • Yeah, I don't know either.

  • I first imagined it being about Lee killing a man before, but it could also mean, he tought her how to shoot a gun, she had been in danger a lot of times, stealing from the car (If you did that) or anything like that.

  • "We all gotta come out the closet sometime, sweet pea."

  • If you don't say anything when she asks she says "its ok they'll like it" so now I'm even more confused
