New Frontier "Recreate": given options do not match what happened in the game - Need Help

Hello.

I purchased the Episode 3 and since I couldn't load my saves from Episode 1 & 2 (no matter what I tried) I was forced to use the "Recreate" option.
There is just one problem: the options I'm given to build the story are VERY subjective. I cannot clearly associate them with my choices in the previous games at all.
Can someone please explain me where those decisions (the ones showed up in the "story builder") actually took place, so I can see my logs and try to actually recreate my story?

Please, refrain from writing spoilers about the Season 3, since I haven't played it yet.

The "Recreate" steps are:

1) In The Walking Dead Season 1, Clementine met Lee after she lost her family and home. He protected Clem and taught her the importance of...
a) Community
b) Justice
c) Survival
d) Self-Reliance

Well, I taught her ALL those things. I can't recall a dialogue where I actually had to pick one of those four. They are very subjective! How should I remember which one I picked? Do someone have a hint?

2) Clem and Lee travelled to Savannah, where Lee sacrificed himself to save her. As he lay dying, Lee begged Clem to...
a) Leave him to turn
b) Kill him

This one was very emblematic, so I actually remembered. I killed him.

3) After Lee's Death, Clem found more survivors. People who helped her, such as...
a) Kenny
b) Luke
c) Jane

This one is impossible to pick. All those 3 helped me in different points of the story. All the 3 options are right! How should I pick one? How should I know which one is "correct"? Kenny helped me a lot in Season 1 and 2 and I sided with him on the end, but Jane also saved me a few times, so she helped me too, and Luke also helped me in the beggining of Season 2. This is really upsetting: I have no clue how to solve this one.

4) Clementine remembered the joy she felt when she was reunited with Kenny. He showed her that survival depended on...
a) Honesty
b) Determination
c) Family

Again, I don't remember this. Did I had to choose between those 3 options at any point before? I checked the log of my save files and there wasn't any decision regarding those. Survival depends on all those things! How should I know which abstract concept Kenny actually showed me?

5) Thanks to her companions, Clem's journey ultimately led her to...
a) Howe's Hardware
b) Wellington
c) Travel Alone

I also remembered that one, since it was at the end of the last episode: I sided with Kenny and went North.

6) At Wellington, the community would not allow Kenny in. Clem decided to...
a) Enter Wellington
b) Leave with Kenny

This one was also easy to remember. I stayed at Wellington.

7) Clem learned the hard way that survival depended on...
a) Resources
b) People

No clue whatsoever. How should I pick that one? Clem learned both things - there were times when resources were more important and there were times where people were more important. I didn't have to make any emblematic choice like picking one or the other. This is totally subjective!

8) It never got any easier. Clem remembers how she stopped AJ's dad mother from biting him during an ambush, but drawing her gun risked angering their attackers. Clem chose to...
a) Shoot
b) Call for Help

Well, I don't remember this one. I looked on the log and it wasn't there also. Was this a major choice? I have a feeling it was minor. Where on my save files should I go to find out which option did I pick?

Overall, I'm very frustrated; I can still play my old files on the Season 1 and Season 2 executables, but I can't upload them and the Season 3 game do not recognize them doesn't matter how much I try. Recreating the story is my only hope, but this feature is not recreating it at all: it is generating a new story based on vague memories you had of your previous playthroughts. I don't want that. I want to continue playing my files EXACTLY as they were: it makes no sense to me playing a story vaguely related to the one I played before and I'm seriously almost giving up on the series after all this headache.

Please, if someone is more skilled or knowledgeable than me, give me some hints of how should I solve this problem. Thank you all in advance for your help.

What game platform are you on? Either way, you shouldn't worry about it because everything will still be the same regardless of S1 and S2 choices
