A question about comic Rick Grimes.

So I have heard that Rick Grimes from the comic series is younger than he is in the TV show - being 29 at the start, and 34 now.

However later on I heard that he is now 38, and that there was no time jump. So how old is he, which is correct?

    there is definitely a time skip after they beat the saviors. of at least a year.

    yeah he APPARANTLY was 29 when it started ( but I think that info came from the wiki only, not the actual comic book ) and has recently been outed as 38, its about 4 - 5 years into the apocalypse since it started so he must have been 32 - 33 when it began. I don't remember it being mentioned how old he is in the show but one of the reasons Lincoln was chose to be Rick was because due to recently having a baby in 2010, he looked a bit older than he was due to interrupted sleep and what not, so in the show they wanted him to be late 30's early 40s I'm guessing.
