I think after this season...
I believe that after this season, if Telltale would like to, they could continue making Walking Dead games but maybe just work on a new series. It'd be good to revisit the early days of the apocalypse and other scenarios, and they've proven that they can actually make a decent protagonist who isn't Clementine (400 Days, Javier, etc.)
After all that Clementine has been through, ending her story. Personally I'd favour an ending that mirrored the ending of Season 1 with Clementine alone and looking at a field, only on a more bitter note maybe perhaps looking at the end of a field hopefully to see two survivors, but they're just simply walkers, nobody there to protect or guide her anymore.
But it'd be a nice touch to also have multiple endings, perhaps where she dies (from previous choices), to where someone sacrifices themselves, or similar to the Season 2 endings, she just goes in multiple directions. So the story truly ends where you want it to.
What do you guys think? Should Clementine's story end here?

Her story shouldn't end in Javiers story. So no.
I feel like Clementine's story will probably end in ANF but I don't want it to. I would like Clementine's story to end when she's an adult and not when she's just 13. Also I want it to be in a season all about her and not about some other character.
TWD game series cannot go further than comic's timeline, so it's unlikely we will ever see adult Clementine.
While probably true, I find that to be a silly notion, since they are completely seperate instances anyways, I dont see the problem in Telltale progressing the story, as long as they dont use comic characters, and work with the creator.
(BTW I have never read the comics, so take this with a bit of salt)
If theyre gonna end Clems story, they should do it in her own game, I would hate to send off Clem while playing as Javier, it wouldnt feel personal the way Lees sendoff did
Considering comics are the original 'The Walking Dead' and therefore determinate the canon universe, everything based on it must be consistent and cooperate together.
I mean, Rick and his fellas might find the cure in the next volume and settle down under blue skies of Alabama or something. Then Clem's adult story would be irrelevant. Everything TWD universe related is defined by comics and their creator, as inconvenient as it is.
The only cure for Billions of zombies is killing them. IF they come up with a cure that would ruin the whole show.
Joke.
I feel like I'm the only person who doesn't want Clem's story to end; at least any time soon.
I can't be the only one... am I?
No...just..no. Telltale needs to move on from TWD at some point and that point needs to be after ANF.
I would definitely like to see her age and develop some more, I also feel like sending off Clem in A New Frontier would be bad, since its Javiers game, if we are gonna end Clems story, at least make her last game about her
Yes. That should be the least that is done.
I guess I just don't want to say bye to Clem just now.
They missed the perfect opportunity to end her story in season 2. I would've been dissapointed initially that the second game didn't cross over to the third, but at least it would have been a satisfying conclusion to Clementine's story, aswell as Kenny's and Jane's, and would spare us of the badly written, shoehorned attempt at continuation so far seen in ANF.
Javier isn't decent though.
