THE WALKING DEAD IS OVER
The TV show is stupid now as if it were written by a 12 year old and it has lost it's touch of realism and the exact same applies to the Walking Dead game.
The comics are still okay but I think it's just gone on for too long now and it will soon lose its popularity especially with the TV show doing terrible right now.
Kirkman should of ended it when it was on a high before it became this cringy franchise thing that it is now.

So unnecesary. Shane, just stay fucking dead, no one cares what you say because you're dead
I think the show lost its realism long before this season. It's just that now there's awful, hammy acting and ridiculous dialogue to go along with it.
First the shows suck, then the games, and now the comics.
ABANDON SHIP!!!
No offense, but I stopped watching it after the first two shows of the first season because the acting (aside from Michael Rooker) was always horrible.
The comics are FINALLY starting to return to ZOMBIES. But even that move seems too late because it's boring me. The fate of Rick and his crew in an unprecedented ocean of zombies shouldn't bore me, but it is.
I like the TV show.
(I'm not trolling.)
Don't follow the comics.
The show: I lost interest late season 6 and stopped watching apart from the couple of eps where Negan killed bashed in Glenn and Abraham's faces. Even though I was happy that Rick's team was finally getting killed, I thought Negan was cartoonish and I lost interest again. Recently got back into it last 2 or 3 episodes and now there are characters around that almost make Negan look sensible (Ezikel, those cunts that Rick met that made him fight a spiked zombie. Man they look and sound worse than Ezikel lmao)
The game: Yeah all the extreme amount of hate on here is a decent summary of how below the required standards it has gotten. I'm still hoping that we will see season 1 like quality again in the future though.
Do not fear baby, Daddy is here to save the day

You talk an awful lot about something you hate so much.
People are generally more likely to speak out when they dislike something than when they enjoy it.
I know but thats not my point. Shane Walsh seems to go out of his way to bash The Walking Dead.
Everything's got its ups and downs.
Or you could just stop watching it
You're just jealous because they killed you off in Season 2.
The newest season of the tv show is actually one of my favourites, if you don't like it then fair enough stop watching
Why?
"touch of realism"
ha
Because I loved it and it was awesome, but now it sucks and I have invested a lot of time in it to just be silent and stop bothering with it.
Why would I be jealous of not being in what is now a cheesy cheap TV show with terrible dialogue and acting?
How much time before you decided it sucked?
The comic Negan seemed like a great bad guy but the TV Negan should be different and not as comic book like because it has really screwed the TV show up and like you say made the whole thing cartoony.
No he is jealous because they killed him off in issue 6
Yeah, the whole franchise is definitely at a crushing low at this point in time and I don't think Kirkman, AMC or Telltale realize how bad the content everyone is putting out for The Walking Dead is.
A declination in quality doesn't mean the series as a whole is "over".
I get that things suck sometimes but holy fucking hell people, some folks really like to blow shit out of proportion and its getting incredibly agitating. Chill the fuck out.
I agree there has been an increased sense of negativity but not without cause. Some people I've talked to on this forum have completely given up on playing the game or watching the show. The show has had a strong decrease in writing and just overall quality and story. The same could be said for the game as even employees at Telltale don't feel that great about it. And the comics... Don't even get me started ugh
Everyone has their own opinions. I think it's going strong other than Rick and Michonne getting together, it just doesn't work for me.
Fair point.
See, that's the problem with reading them one by one. The experience isn't as grand. Shit gets VERY underwhelming when no one dies. I'm thinking Sherry and The Fucktard Brigade will cause some damage, since The Whisperer Wars were a big troll. And Robert Kirkman knows that. He knows it was a troll. If you think the comics are bad right now, you should have been around when the timeskip first happened. Oh my god, I hated it. The whole thing had to grow on me.
What problem do you have with Rick and Michonne? And please dont tell me you think they are like brother and sister.
Their relationship has been expressed as platonic for like six seasons and all of the sudden they're together? I don't buy it, it doesn't feel natural. Their relationship has always been a mutual respect for each other because they're pretty much the strongest people of the group. It feels like they hooked them up because "Fuck it, we need an equivalent for Andrea who's character we butchered and killed off."
So, you never heard of two people being friends first before they decide to take their relationship to a new level? They have mutual respect, friendship, love and a family together. This has been building up for three seasons before they got together. Scott Gimple is on record saying that he intended for Rick and Michonne to get together since since before he became showrunner and every one of their interactions is filled with clues. It certainly did not come out of the blue. Andrea and Rick had no chemistry, so she was gone and her character traits divided between several others. Sasha got her marksmanship and Michonne got Rick. I know why a lot of people dont think it feels natural, but she is the most logical choice for a mate for Rick.
IF you stayed for 7 seasons Of it then you either drop the show or continue it with its flaws...I'm used to the shits show by now it won't piss me off no matter what it does anymore '__'
If many people think it came out of the blue then the writers did something wrong.
Scott Gimple can say he conveyed it perfectly, but in reality he didn't. They shared no moments where we even saw them as anything more than good friends. Then we just jump cut and Michonne and Rick are acting like they've been a couple for years? Yeah, no.
Andrea and Rick had no chemistry in the show. They butchered her character beyond all repair.
The most logical choice would be Rick not being in a relationship with anyone. He has enough shit to deal with even without having to worry about someone else as he does Carl.
See, that is where personal perception comes in, I guess. You might not have seen any of those moments, for whatever reason, but a lot of people did. Richonne is very popular for a reason. And they have been a couple for almost a season and a half. Before that, they were already living together as a family, as close as can be. Now that theyre officially together, they get closer every episode. I dont know how you think they should be acting.
As for the most logical choice being that Rick should be alone, instead of having someone to love, someone to care for and protect his children, be his partner and have his back, really? Michonne saved his life in the last episode and you would rather him be alone? He doesnt have to worry about her. She's not Jesse. She can take care of herself.
If anything the comics will gain popularity because people will want more
Nah your wrong it was good until season 3
The show has decreased in views but is still one of the most viewed shows on tv
Well I still love it. Game and show. Though I've yet to read the comics.
I stopped watching when Beth died
To be honest I think the opposite, although it has become a bit more unrealistic ('when was it never?'), I think the acting and dialogue has improved in some of the scenes, I actually find myself enjoying it just as much. This show has been getting bashed on since the release of its first season and I don't expect that to stop but I think people are exaggerating a bit when they say the show has really gone downhill, from what I've been hearing and reading, the loss of popularity is largely due to the increase in violence and probably the 'overexertion', for lack of a better term, of the post apocalyptic zombie genre.
