Handsome Rhys they are living in a Zombie Apocalypse. They all have cuts, bruises..etc..etc all over their bodies. If it was the guts that got them sick they would all be dead by now because of the zombie guts getting on those cuts and bruises. It's the saliva that gets them sick.
They do cover themselves with guts, but of course none of that goes into their mouth, nor they've every applied it on their wounds, so it has no way of entering the bloodstream.
They don't kill zombies naked as far as I know, they're dressed up, and they're not necessarily wounded 24/7, the apocalypse of TWD isn't as dangerous as, say, TLOU's or Left 4 Dead's.
Also, The Governor once kissed his zombiefied niece, in the mouth, full tongue, and he was relatively fine after that.

You people asked for it right? Kept complaining that nothing was happening... YOU HAPPY NOW?!
I said something similar to this in Th… moree Walking Dead Subreddit and it was a borderline orgasmic feeling to be that right. People downvoted me 'cause they knew it, too. And that isn't me being full of myself, because that's all they'd do: Downvote me without presenting a counterargument.
They bitched, and bitched, and bitched...Then Kirkman finally responded.
Chances are slim she is going to die. But in anycase there have been lots of characters die in the show prior to dying in the comic. Dale and Lori are just a couple.
As many zombies as they kill the chances of them surviving this long if getting gunk on actual wounds killed them then the chances of any of them being alive at this point would be practically 0.
No point in arguing as there is no clear cut answer either way as we both can just keep on bringing up instances that contradict what the other is saying. Only firm conclusion we can come up with is that if Kirkman wants characters to survive getting zombie saliva or gunk on them they will.
It is a moot point anyway though because Eugene didn't start using his knife until after that panel that showed the blood dripping from his knife.

Well, that knife is bloodied because he had just stabbed a walker in the head with it shortly before that panel. Regardless, I think you're right. Whatever it really is that wound on Andrea's neck, we both agree that it probably won't prove fatal to her, so let's just drop it here.

I think he meant in real lifetime. Like, Dale died chronologically way before his counterpart in the comic, right? But his comic counterpart was already dead when we saw him die in the show. So comic Dale died before TV Dale, same goes for Lori and other guys you mentioned. Instead, TV Sophia is now dead, while Comic Sophia is still alive, and such is Andrea's case.

Patricia and Otis are two more.

At least I think he meant that, I could be wrong.

First time a character died in the tv show before they died in the comic

What about Sophia?
Kirkman has at least 20 issues ahead fleshed out.

Well Kirkman finally has some balls again
She didn't die in the comics, yet
I mean like, Andrea died in the TV series a few years ago and she will die soon in the comics
Your right
