It takes alot for me to dislike a Walking Dead Telltale episode, i never actually have.
While i prefer season two or one over ANF, I don't … moresee why it gets as much hate as it does.
Clementine not being the playable character is the ONLY thing that bothers me though, I've been taking care of this kid for the past two seasons and all of a sudden she's just thrown to the side Other than that, I really enjoy the game
the whole game could be bad
Fixed. Just because the game started on a bad foot doesn't mean it can't recover. It might not but there is still a chance.
I suppose I could grant this season one pro - Jesus. I'm not a fan of the art style this season, but I'm overlooking it as they're using a new engine. That can be difficult to achieve the graphical tones the first time around. They haven't had enough time to really play with the engine and see what it's capable of yet. I'm not saying what we've been given is awful, it's simply no polished.
I feel like the way they've presented Clem through Javi was a mistake that divided the community. It would've worked out better had the developers chosen more of a Borderlands protagonist style if they wanted to cash in on Clem. Playing her only in flashbacks is a disservice, and I don't mean that to sound like a Clem fangirl. The flashbacks are out of place in a game of this style where 'choices matter'. The past is the past : the ink is dry. It won't change how Clem has behaved or the choices she has made thus far, only attempt explain or justify what someone has already chosen for them. That doesn't hold the same weight. *This has a possibility of being altered in Episode 3 if Clem and Javi are separated, but I'm not holding my breath.

well, I'm so sorry you have meager standards for greatness

Everything is rushed, it just jumps from action scene to action scene, and the episodes are very short, whats there NOT to dislike?
Yeah... I guess I'll give you a point on that one. But my hopes aren't up so high

Pro.
Episode 1 + 2 ended
So all this time, them being short was a good thing
The simple truth is you're in denial.
Pros:
