Clementine's Story
I am writing a factual based story/fanfiction about Clem's side of her story in TWD. I have written an intro and wondered what you thought about it. IF YOU WANT, YOU CAN GIVE YOUR OPINION AND TALK CRAP ABOUT MY STORY, I WOULD LIKE TO SEE WHAT IMPROVEMENTS I COULD MAKE AND WHAT YOU THINK OF IT!
"Where was the last place you saw him, Clem? My mom asked.
" I don't know! He was in his cage last night." I said.
My dad replied, "Well he couldn't have gone far, then."
"Why don't you go check in the kitchen, Clem?" Mom said.
"Do you really think he's in there?"
"Well, its the only place we haven't checked, so there's only one way to find out,"
"OK. I hope he is there cause I miss him."
My mom also added, " We'll find him, Clem."
I ran into the kitchen quickly, knowing he had to be there. I began looking in the drawers and looked inside jars and in the sink
. When I opened a drawer, I found a walkie talkie. It was my Parents'. My dad came in to check on me. I turned around and told him, " Look dad! Its your walkie talkie!"
"Oh, yeah! I'm not sure how it got there. I'm not very good about keeping track of my things, that's why your mother keeps me in line."
We both chuckled about it for a minute, then we heard a rustling noise coming from the cabinet above the microwave. My dad opened it to discover my pet hamster digging inside a box of cookies.
"You found him!" I screamed with excitement.
"Yeah, and it looks like he found a box of cookies."
My mother came in the kitchen and saw that we found him, she was relieved.
"Looks like he ate half of 'em." She said.
"Yeah, no kidding." Said dad.
"Good thing we found him before we leave for Savannah." Said mom.
"Yeah! One less thing to worry about."
"How long are you two gonna be gone?" I asked.
"We're only gonna be gone for a couple of days, sweetie. It'll be over before you know it, and the best part is, Sandra will be staying here with you until we get back."
"I like Sandra!"
"You two get along so well, you are almost like sisters."
"We are! Well, kind of... We're like secret sisters!"
"Secret sisters?!"
"Its a game me and Sandra play."
"You two will be fine then." Dad said.
"And to think, when we get back, Clem can be expecting a little brother in 4 months."
I complained, "Can't it be a girl?!"
My dad replied, "Sorry Clementine, you don't get to choose if it's a boy or a girl and neither do we. But once he comes, you'll be grateful to have someone to play with. Sure it will be weird at first, but later on in life, you'll think every second was worth it. Family is the most important thing we have in this world Clementine: we need someone to lean on when we can't keep our balance, and we need someone to help pick us up after we fall."
"But I heard brothers are a pain."
"Yeah, that is true, but they are mainly good to their sisters."
"Alright Ed, we better finish packing up. We got a big road trip tomorrow."
"Alright. Let's go put your hamster away and make sure he doesn't escape from his cage again."
The rest of the day went on and my parents left tomorrow and of course , I couldn't sleep.
THE END OF THE INTRO
