The people with Badger don't seem like the type that would back him up in Prescott. They have an immediate reaction to his hostile ways, even if they do nothing at the time to stop it. ( I admit, this does seem like a dick move on the other members of the group's part, but once already confronting someone with weapons, they really wouldn't want to start something with someone armed right beside them too. It puts them at a severe tactical disadvantage. )
I'd like to think that Badger is awaiting judgement for his actions in Prescott when our group arrives, and that David doesn't yet know about Marianna's death. It would be outstanding if we had a method of choosing whether David or Javi or both beat down Badger. The only way I don't see this becoming another cliched season is if they do allow the two brothers to sort things out as a family. Otherwise, we all know where the story is heading and we've seen it since episode one.
I feel that the following is going to happen:
* Badger is going to go on trial for his crimes. He'll get away scott free because the pe… moreople in his group vouch for him. And seeing that David is the Leader, He will have to stick to his principles, angering Javi. He quickly finds Badger after the trial and gets to a confrontation. During the confrontation Badger convinces that if he is killed , David will have to stick to his principles and would have to sentence Javi to death.
* Clem, in the flashback, is suspected of murdering two people in the group in cold blood. In the process of being sentenced to death, Ava pleads with David that she didn't do it, but David claims that the will of the people have been done. At the middle of the night, Clem tries to escape with AJ but is caught by David. Ava pleads one more about letting Clem go. David tells Ava and the group Clem goes, but AJ stays. Taking AJ and telling Clem to never return.

There's also the fact that he's pretty clearly implied to be a lieutenant like Max, so he has authority on his side unfortunately.

I just... don't care about avenging Marianna's death. I mean what will happen if you don't kill him, will Gabe and Clem be scarred, even though they are already 4 years into the ZA? What will happen if we do kill him? Some satisfaction over it? Remember Danny fight? That wasn't exactly heroic or even vengeful for Mark and Larry...

If it was for Marijuana however...
I have the same hopes, namely because the season wouldn't be named after its antagonist (?) if there wasn't going to be something way more interesting in the works with them. Really looking forward to seeing the inside of that community.
I liked the trailer, though nothing about Javiers fight intrigued me in the slightest. David, though. Considering the situations they showed… more him speaking in, I didn't think he sounded as angry, bitter, or hostile as I remember from him in the flashbacks. He sounded more calm, more matter of fact and in control, which gives me hope they might not just make him another sadistic leader of a sadistic group that has to be dealt with, and go deeper with his character.
He's a lieutenant like Max that doesn't like operating by the New Frontiers laws. He's also the one who killed Mariana and Francine before ordering a full scale assault on Prescott without the go-ahead.

Pure evil. But white rich pigs say it's "Freedom".

Agreed.
Nice crotch shot.

Hell, Gabe might just kill him himself
It all makes sense now...0o0
What's the significance of Badger anyway? To me he's just another goon

I don't care if I knew her for 10 minutes or 3 seasons, if a young girl is murdered I sure as hell am going to be sad/mad about it and want revenge.
Ya damn right, Knuckles!
She seems decent enough, for now.
