Importing saves when I no longer have the game?

Hi guys!

I just bought S3 of the Walking Dead on PS4.
I have a save from S1 and S2 on my PC, but these are literally just the files in a folder, as I played the game previously on my ex's computer. This means I can't use the in-game upload function to get these saves onto my S3 game!

Is there any way at all that anyone can think of that I can get these onto my PS4? I'd rather not, but I'm even considering purchasing S2 for my laptop just to have the ability to upload them. Would this even be worth it?

    Just use the story generator (takes about 5 minutes max). The S1 and S2 choices don't matter too much.

    So you really feel that the story generator is equivalent to an import? I'd hate there to be inconsistencies with previous saves, but I guess there's not likely to be huge things carried over that I wouldn't be able to set in the generator anyway...
