David...

Is a good guy, but he might be trying to use Javi so he can take full control of Richmond. I feel like he really is doing something behind the scenes, and perhaps AJ really did die. Still, it is clear at this point that Joan is the real manipulator.

By the way, if Conrad survived episode 2, he will die in episode 3 if you didn't give him the gun. He will die trying to enter that warehouse by being bit. However, the gun will allow you to shoot Badger in the head (giving you the kill him quickly option).

Judging by the trophy/achievement titles for the upcoming episodes, David and Javi should have a falling out and Richmond will be taken over. Even the trailer for season 3 showed Javi with the New Frontier mark on his neck, partnered up with Clementine to look for someone (most likely AJ).

This was confimed to be a scrapped idea or a proof of concept specifically made for the teaser.

Yeah, I got the same vibe when I first saw the leaks, but bringing Max along thankfully debunks it.

Still, a small part of me feels a little iffy about what Ava went to do.

  • I don't think he is up to anything, he doesn't strike me as the duplicitous type. I dont think he is lying about AJ or anything else. What concerns me is that if he were the sole leader of the NF this group would become a very severe group in a very short time.

  • David is still a garbage person.

  • He strikes me as an asshole....but yeah I do not fully trust him.

  • If David is using Javier, he's not doing a good job at it. It would make for a plot twist that Telltale loves to pull, but it'd damn convoluted and very risky since both have put their lives on the line multiple times for eachother. Perhaps the guy is just complicated, but Telltale certainly does give you plenty of reason to doubt him.
