I'm still disappointed (SPOILERS)
Believe it or not, I loved episode 3 and I think it's better than Ties That Bind but there's still some flaws that I cannot ignore. For example:
- Lack of hub areas
- Clementine having only 5 minutes playability
- Short episodes
- Noticeable plot holes
- Development for determinant characters (Yes, I did see Conrad but not the same as Season 1 determinant characters)
- Re-used soundtracks
What exactly does Telltale want from us? To enjoy their games or to steal our money? This is something which I cannot let go. The re-writting didn't do that much, it feels like they changed the story and character development only and there are still flaws they never bothered fixing. They are just destroying this franchise and the old fanbase. Job Stauffer, like it or not, is horrible to his fans. Now, I don't say I hate him as a person (He is such a nice guy), he is just not being honest with us, he doesn't want to read our problems. He lied to us and had terrible excuses to use to defend himself and Telltale. For example:
FANS: Why did you split the first episode in two?
JOB: Because it was TOO BIG.
JOB: There are 42 different versions of Clementine in this season depending on your choices
JOB: The choices will matter
JOB: This is going to be the biggest season we have done so far
That is NOT how it works Telltale. This game is good but it's a huge disappointment. This is NOT Season 3. If anything, Clementine shouldn't have been involved in this game cause she is just there to attract the old players when this game is pretty much for new players. 90% old players played this season, there aren't even many new players out there. Who cares if they didn't play the first seasons? How hard is it to play the first seasons? Simple answer: laziness.
I know there has been a lot of threads about this but I made this thread because this game is still lacking a lot of content which makes it disappointing and ruins the franchise. I want it to be good, I want Telltale to listen to us. This is definitely something we didn't ask for and they just keep ignoring us.
