But in most video games medicine was given to grown-up people, not little children. I can't recall any videogame in which there was somethin… moreg about sick kids. Isn't that weird though, that Clementine has never fallen ill when she was with Lee, and then in S2, with all the snowstorms, rain and wind?
I gave the medicine. I didn't trust the doctor...how could I? Wasn't he high or something?
I trusted that Clementine knew what AJ needed and had found the right medicine. If it gave AJ even the tiniest chance of getting better (even if only temporarily), it was worth it.
I agree with you 100% - I took the fact that they were simply giving up on him because they didn't want to waste medicine on a toddler that had less of a chance of surviving in such a harsh environment/he's not as useful because he's so young. An adult would have a better chance of surviving some illness with a stronger immune system plus they'd be seen as more useful to the community.
Either way, I didn't buy the doctor's words that it was hopeless. I felt they were trying to trick Clementine. But who knows?
I injected him for two reasons:
1. They were saying this because a toddler is no help to a group, basically it's a 'let him die, for someon… moree who is older'
2. Doctor was CLEARLY high, the way he spoke I doubt he meant what he said, I wouldn't be surprised if he has looked after AJ.
Even if he was high, it doesn't mean he didn't know what he was talking about. People don't just forget everything they know when they get high. Would I want a doctor who was high to operate on me? No. But would I trust medical advice from a doctor who was high? Yes, I absolutely would. He still knows what he's talking about.

But yeah, on further reflection, I guess this scene makes sense when you consider she's about what 13 years old? This is exactly the kind of dumb mistake a 13 year old would make, so I suppose it is in character.
I guess we can't completely impose our own problem solving skills on a kid even if we are controlling her at the time.

I will admit, I never noticed that with Clementine not sick in S2 when it's winter....nice.
