You think we'll see **** in season 3? *SPOILERS*
Do you think we'll see Luke in a flashback?
I don't have a whole lot to base this on, but TT have hinted that Kenny and Jane will return, or rather, have another flashback.
Now, I remember when building your Clementine at the beginning of season 3, one of the questions makes you choose between Kenny, Jane or Luke. I don't remember the exact question, but I remember thinking it was really random that Luke was one of the options.
So, do you think it's possible the next time we see Kenny or Jane, it's a flashback to season 2, and depending on what we chose (or our choices if we imported our save) it's possible we could get a Kenny, Jane, or Luke flashback?

Rather if you went with Jane, Kenny, or that woman at Wellington I think its more than likely so that we will have a flashback with Luke. I really just wanna know where and what the question was involving Luke.
Maybe, but I never felt that I attached to Luke like other characters, so I'm not going to worry - metaphorically - if he does not appear. I preferred Jane than him and Kenny; however, I was not happy with the way they killed her off.
I think the way she went was much better than how Kenny went her death actually was like "OH SHIT!" rather than Kenny's death which was like "fuck you Telltale...." so be happy for the way she went.
I think we'll see Luke in the present time, remember when he turned into a mermaid?
Why would we? What does Luke have to offer that is relevant in any way in the current story-situation?
You could argue the same for the potential Kenny/jane flashbacks.
Nearly positive we won't see ANF is geared to newcomers who wouldn't be familiar with S2.
Yeah, but the newcomers wouldn't need to worry about that. They'd get the Alone version of that flashback, no Season 2 strings attached.
I forgot the question, since I hadn't used the story generator since episodes 1 and 2 dropped, but I did look it up on YouTube earlier because it was bugging me.
"After Lee's death, Clem found more survivors. People who helped her, such as..." and the options were Kenny, Luke, or Jane.
Like I said, it's a pretty baseless accusation, but it was pretty random to throw Luke into the choice generator, and if I recall he doesn't show up again on there.
Where are people hearing about Kenny and Jane returning!?
I believe it was an AMA Telltale did. People asked about Kenny and Jane, and they said something along they lines of "it's very likely they'll make another appearance before the season ends."

I don't think that Luke would be the best person for another flashback. I feel that Christa needs a flashback to show the relation between Clem and her. And the flashback's purpose is just to drive Clem to leave Javi's group because the idea to be alone and stay away from groups is a idea that was instilled by Christa. Also, I find it a major disrespect that Clem mentions a man that she knew for 3 months more than a women that looked after her for two years.

What relevance did the Lee flashback have to Clementines situation of BEING SHOT in season 2? the answer is nothing, but its there to drive an emotional response from the player
Lee made sense because Clementine had a near-death experience and was worried with all kinds of stuff. It was not just fanservice.
If there are going to be new ones, yes. But I doubt there will.
The flashbacks at the beginning of this season made sense and were necessary as the bridge between season two and three.
I really doubt that we will see Luke in a flashback. His arc was kind of open and closed and he wasn't involved in any of the endings.
The flashback made a lot of sense.
In this flashback Lee prepared Clem for the future when she almost died.
He used the example of leaving Lily behind or take her back to the group. He didn't know what the right decision would have been.
He told whatever decision Clem had to make, it can't always be prevented from hurting someone..
She can answer Lee she is very scared to take a life or lose someone she loves.
And soon she had to make a choice and hurt someone: getting Jane or Kenny be killed as she loved them both.
So the Lee flashback finally made a lot of sense..
She finally had to take a life of a loved one.
This flashback had very emotional impact. Like Lee returned for a moment as an angel. "I will never leave you Clem."
Honestly what was Luke's arc?
Trying to uphold an idealistic mindset as a leader, but finding himself struggling to live up to the heroic image he's trying to give off due to his limitations as a human being.
Whether it was a cobbled together closure that happened to work decently or was planned from the very beginning is up for debate.
