Max: A sympathetic asshole or just a slimy douchebag

Personally speaking, Max is my favorite character of new frontier. His personality greatly reminds me of G1 Starscream, just a bit more humane. He is extremely cowardish, has comic relief character properties and he never gets lucky.

    I lean more towards slimy douchebag because he missed several opportunities to redeem himself in episode 3 and he only took it after he was threatened to be murdered. I'll see how he does in episode 4. He's not nearly as bad as Badger though. I despise Badger. Max is worth sparing for the time being.

    Sympathetic asshole definitely. While I admit the revelations of Above the Law added quite a bit of retroactive weight to his behavior in Part 1, he does still seem to do what he does because he truly believes it's whats best for the New Frontier.

    Sympathetic asshole. I'll admit that when I found out thay he was part of the looting, I was disappointed. I really like him and couldn't bring myself to kill him. He looks tough on the outside, but he has a heart and is a good guy.
