Conrad Appreciation Thread
It often baffled me how 90% of players shot Conrad. I always knew that Conrad was a good guy deep down, it just that he just went totally insane during the tunnel scene. Sure he may have taken Gabe as hostage, but Conrad barely even knew who Javier was and probably thought that Javier would have been stubborn about the whole plan. He also recently had to deal with Francine's death, and was pretty pissed at Javier. He also had every reason to be mad at The New Frontier because of what they did to Francine and Clementine being one of them finally took him over the edge. But what strikes me the most out of all this, is that Conrad apologizes for how he acted. Not only does Conrad tell you to keep the gun in episode 3, he JUMPS IN FRONT OF THE TRUCK to save Javier. The guy who ended up getting Francine killed. Conrad is just a humble guy, and is one of the best characters of The New Frontier despite his limited screen time.
So he deserves this appreciation thread.

When you're the best determinant character ever and 90% killed you
Character Appreciation threads aren't usually good discussion material, but if you want to re-tool this into a more specific thread related to the story (such as how you talk about Conrad apologizing), that would be fine.
Which is funny, because I think they wanted the players to regret killing Conrad. Episode 4 proves it because Tripp/Eleanor ends up getting mad at you for killing him.
I really enjoy his character. I grew to really respect him after he apologized and then when he talked about needing time to figure out who the new Conrad is. I loved that episode 4 really showed us the friendship between Tripp and Conrad, either they hug or we see Tripp's outrage over Javi killing him.
Who would've thought that the random bartender from episode 1 would grow into such an epic character?
If that's the case than you can just close this discussion. Because I'm not changing the name.
