"AJ's better off now than he's ever been"
That line from Lingard has me very concerned. I don't think he's dead but the way Lingard talked about him, wherever he is I have a bad feeling I won't want to take him away from it. Like if AJ's in a good place and he's happy I don't know if have it in me to take him from it. But I'm also not sure if I'd have the strength to just leave knowing I'd never see him again.
What do you think? Is AJ in a good place? Do you think you can still take him from it even if he's happy?

Lingard was talking about his medical shape, and if you assist at his suicide he will tell you where AJ is.
I don't know. That worries me too.
But I will not keep Clem and AJ apart. If I have to take him away from a good home, then so... be... it...? I... I don't know anymore... Ohh no. It'll be just like the Wellington or Kenny choice in season two...
It sounds like he's in a good place with a good family. When we see AJ again, that might be the choice that we have. Would I leave him with a family that can support him? Absolutely. Clem and AJ were starving on their own together, and he was dying of illness. Would I prefer the option for Clem to stay with the family also? Absolutely.
The dude was pretty high in that scene, so I would take everything he said with a grain of salt. Besides, there's always the possibility that the "good family" AJ is with could only be putting up a nice front but they're actually some screwed up cannibals. (St.Johns much?) xD
Yeah, I thought the answer was gonna be that AJ eventually died of something else too. Especially given how he was going on about having nothing to live for and/or not wanting to live in world anymore.
What if AJ is in a place where he is happy, clem tries to storm the place to take him back but javi has the option to tell clem to leave AJ there or get him back.vif you choose to let AJ stay, however, clem will become outraged, attack javi and javi will be forced to kill her! DX
I can easily see it as "AJ's better off now than he's ever been because he is dead".
I would love a death like that. It would remind me of Kenny. I feel like that the players that got the Kenny ending should get that death.
That's exactly what I think is gonna happen. Lingard wanted to be dead himself, after all.
He's either alive or dead somewhere. Honestly this AJ thing has been unnecessarily dragged out to keep clementine in the story. First David didn't know where he was and then Lingard is cryptic in his condition and location for no reason.
Oh I'd hate that ending. I was thinking that there should be only 2 endings this time but clem sides with you either way: you either become one of the new co-leaders of the new frontier, maybe the over boss and clem is your right hand, or you leave Richmond together. I think clem and javi should make it through to at least season 5 together because I want her to consider javi as a new sort of father figure.
To be fair, Lingard was high as a kite.
You don't think a ending that Clem goes busing in the community, dropping bodies, and rising hell wouldn't be a good ending? I imagine it to be like when Carl kills the Savior in the compound type shoot out. But in the process is gunned down.
No because it means there is a higher chance of her getting killed
