Badger Ep3 (Spoilers)

Can someone tell me what happens if you leave Badger to turn? In episode 4 his corpse is seen near the end of the episode but what happens if you don't kill him?

    I believe his corpse turns up at Joan's display with grey skin and without the bag over his head.
