How Walking Dead will End (Spoilers from Comics)

I've been thinking: How will Kirkman end the series? No, I'm not talking just about the game, but the comics too. Knowing Kirkman, he'd want to end it on a high note. Here's how I would want it to end:

  • Rick dies around issue 199 (Kirkman confirmed that Rick will die eventually)
  • Carl takes over as main character starting at issue 200 (Kirkman confirmed that TWD is Carl's story)
  • There will be around a 10-year timeskip in issue 200 as the story now revolves around Carl's leadership in Alexandria
  • If this was the final volume, I'd have Clementine and the other game characters show up in the comics so both medias can end together.
  • Michonne, Maggie, Negan, Hershel (Maggie's kid) and Jesus are the only remaining Alexandria survivors alive
  • The amount of walkers increased drastically throughout the 10 years so they'll be the final antagonists.
  • Both Carl and Clem will be the center of attention because their stories are tied together.

As for how Rick should die, I would have him be shot by Dwight because currently he hates Rick after killing his wife Sherry. As Rick lays dying in his son's arms, he'll reflect on his life during the apocalypse and tells Carl to never give up on hope. The last panels of issue 199 will be Carl aiming a gun to his father's head and lastly you see the words BANG!

    I doubt Dwight would wait like 20 issues. If Dwight is killing Rick, it'd be a lot sooner.

    True, but who knows? He could be plotting and waiting for the right moment.

    The last panels of issue 199 will be Carl aiming a gun to his father's head and lastly you see the words BANG!

    MY TAKE: At the bottom of the page, we see a young teenage girl running for her life through a forested area. She hides behind a tree and tries to catch her breath. Then she hears a sound, looks out at the reader, and we see that it's Clementine. And at the very end, a big bold sentence appears: THE NEXT CHAPTER OF THE WALKING DEAD BEGINS SOON.

    I would like her to be introduced in as a prisoner of war.Before we see her, we hear of stories and hints of the commotions that occurred outside of The Kingdom and there war against Richmond. "Girl was nuts. covered up in walker gut. Killed Billy; slit my best man in the nuts. And lead a herd to us. We were shit out of luck."
