ANF Has Changed A Lot

The plot for this season of TWD is way different than we first saw it. We've seen in the teaser a clean shaven Javier with the frontier brand on his neck. We've seen Javi and Clem in a place with locked up walkers and we never got it (We could get it in episode 5 but whatever). Now, we got a very different plot with Javi not being part of the New Frontier with a nice beard and Clem's on the run looking for AJ.I know Telltale Does Lots Of Rewrites, I'm Just Saying How Much The Plots Changed. ANF is a good season and has improved and I can't wait to see what episode 5 has for us.

So...what's the point of making this thread?

  • Yes, it's stupid and they keep discrediting themselves. It's ridiculous to think that quickly rolling out their trailers to outwit their own fans into believing they're going to play what they saw subsequent to the trailers to derive as much hype possible while they were still having second thoughts about their writing

  • It's changed a lot? It always does because Telltale just make shit up as they go along these days. That's why there are a million rewrites! And i disagree that it's been a good season, i think the complete opposite but fair enough if you like this poor quality of a game

  • After ANF, they should take 2-3 years to write a solid Season Four AND THEN start releasing it month by month, using each month to polish and bug fix.
But I am dreaming I guess...

  • It took them 2 year's to come out with this one. And now look at it. They just need to MAKE TELLTALE'S THE WALKING DEAD GREAT AGAIN.

  • But was it the only game they worked on? Guess not. I keep repeating myself, they want too much and too short of a time span.

  • To inform you on how much the good season has changed... improved.. My best guess.

  • I honestly don't want a season 4, not after this season. They had 2 years to work at making this game good but failed miserably and this is the problem when a company like this work on more than one game at a time. The effort doesn't go into one game but multiple, plus the fact that its a new writer for each episode virtually says it all where as season 1 writers...judge for yourself

But was it the only game they worked on? Guess not. I keep repeating myself, they want too much and too short of a time span.

  • Agreed. All it takes to make a good game is to set themselves on one at a time and yet they go up a blind alley and fail. I don't see it as a difficult task and it's for the greater good of them and us

  • That's why Naughty Dog's games are just out of this world. They work on one game at a time and sure it takes many years to complete but it is always worth the wait because you know it will be good.

  • I understand you buddy, but do you really never, ever want a Season Four anymore? Leave the fate of our dear Clem hanging in the air?
I am just saying, it doesn't have to be in the near future, but if they take a break and get their shit together, then.

Honestly yeah, I don't want another season and won't be buying it anyway if there is and that's a promise. If i had known how awful this season would be i would have liked Clem's arc to have finished at the end of Season 2. That would have given the players a perfect ending for her giving us our own choice of who we wanted her to end up with. I would have been more than happy seeing my Clem and Kenny walking off into the distance and both characters having an unknown status.

The thing is Tobi, i think you could give Telltale all the time in the world and they still wouldn't get their shit together. The good, decent writing team have left the company after season 1. They just come across as clueless and lazy these days. I had a look at the writers of each episode this season and they have listed about 5 or 6 writers for EACH episode where as in Season 1 they had 1 or 2 per episode. That is Season 3's issue right there. You should never have that many writers for an episode

I agree, but nothing that can't be fixed.
