Issues with ANF on PS4
First off, please don't redirect me to Game Support because I wanna hear your opinions and if you had the same issues as me.
First off, I play on PS4 Pro, European season pass disc version (adding as much info as possible). Episodes 1 and 2 worked correctly (although I first played it in digital version before I bought the disc). Ep3 froze for the first time when Javi and David had their first talk strolling around Richmond. It froze for some seconds and then redirected me to the PS4 menu with a CE-34878-0 error code. It happened twice or thrice. It also froze during a second playthrough when Javi is trying to open the garage door as Clem, Tripp and Jesus hold the walkers back. Then I reinstalled the episode and it seemed to fix it. Now, Episode 4. First time I played it, I could play through it no problem. But the second playthrough, it froze right when Javi is trying to get the truck started and the walkers started to leak into the place. It redirected me to the menu again with the same error code. I continued playing and it didn't seem to happen again, I could finish the episode, but then I realized some of the choices I made had been erased, showing only the ep1 ones and half of the ep4 ones. Ep2 and ep3 were blank, as if I hadn't played them. Fortunately I always do two save files just in case these things happen, but then since the rewind option isn't available I have to keep replaying ep4 to try to change my Ava/Tripp choice. I replayed it again after reinstalling ep4, it froze again in the same spot as before, but the choices weren't altered for some reason. I continued, but then it froze right after I shot Joan and Javi climbed onto the gallows, and again, the choices were corrupted. I don't know what to do anymore. I don't want to keep replaying the same episode just for it to freeze and corrupt on the same spot. Did anyone else have the same problem? Do you know how could I fix this? Yeah that happened to me a week ago while I was replaying, it seems your save may have been corrupted and it might be best to start a new save.
The first time I played the last two eps they both froze right around where you are talking about. But I just restarted I didn't have any of the isssues with choices that you did. Blind sniper will shut this down soon wish I could be more helpful.
I have a second file with the same data to copy-paste into the corrupted one so I can try to play through it again but the freezing is what corrupts it. I don't know what to do anymore.
Aw, I hope this thread lasts just a little longer, Game Support isn't gonna fix my problem at all.
So, this is incredible... I've tried once more to play through it, copying the data from one file to a second one to not lose progress so I could restart from a later checkpoint, and eventually it crashed and it corrupted BOTH files. This is unplayable.
