Honestly, What do you like/dislike from New Frontiers characters' looks/designs?

    • Tripp's hot.
    • Ava looks cool.
    • David looks like he could be a real person.
    • Kate looks okay, but she doesn't match with her Ties That Bind key art design.
    • Clint feels so unoriginal.
    • Jane's second flashback model looks more updated than Kenny's.
    • I'm upset that Gabe and Clem have hoods but never use them, similar to Mike (not counting his Ralph model).
    • My fave Javi design is from the season's teaser trailer.
    • Clem's face was cuter, cooler, and more in line with her S1 design in that same teaser.
    • Not sure if this is a design nitpick, but I'm surprised that none of the NF leaders were black.
    • Is it bad that I think we should've had chubby and dark Asian characters?
    • Female characters feel too same-faced, for some reason.
    • I wanna know if Jesus had any alternate models, pre-finale.
    • I'm DYING to know what Lee, Luke, Sarah and Christa would've looked like this season. (Among others.)
    • Why does flashback baby AJ look like he was just dragged from S2, scaled up, and given a poor texture?
    • I hope they diversify the background characters in future content. The closest we got were the Monroe residents in Michonne.

    I think that's all I had.

she looks absolutely amazing with that shotgun she had at the begining

I wonder where she kept her shotgun during episode 3-4?

Happy Clementine is all what I care about. IMO one of the best things in this season. Also, she looks absolutely amazing with that shotgun she had at the begining, wish we could see her using it more often.

  • I like Javi's Baseball Jersey and badass beard

  • My, what a long list you've got here

I'm upset that Gabe and Clem have hoods but never use them, similar to Mike (not counting his Ralph model).

Yeah, me too. Why Telltale even bothered to create the hoodie if the characters never use them in game?

My fave Javi design is from the season's teaser trailer.

So you prefer beardless Javi then XD

  • Oh, THAT Javier Garcia?

How else are people gonna know he's Javier Garcia? Y'know, THE Javier Garcia? The Baseball player????????

  • I get what they were going for at least: the son heavily resembles the father. It's a common thing in both fiction and in real life, but I think is an example where they laid it on a little too thick, cause it literally looks like they squeezed more of the age and darkness out of David's face and plopped it on a smaller body.

Just like what I said before, his face looks too mature for his age. I just hope Telltale know what they're doing with their characters' designs.

  • Gabe needs to lose the beanie. I'm guessing he has one just because the design team must be having hair issues considering how the textures have been improving since Ep 1/2, but the beanie itself just doesn't look good.

I get the feeling he was partially designed to be a male equivalent to Clementine at first.

I really like Ava's design and Clem's aged design. ( By default I also like Mariana's design ). I prefer Javier with a beard, and strange

I really like Clementine's coat and scarf design from Episode 1...and then they never used it again :)

  • Well, someone's gotta be sexy apparently.

I actually like Gabe's design. Only thing is that I feel like it could look a lot better if he carried a machete along with him and he had a DARKER (But similar) outfit.

  • I noticed that myself. Her face looks older than the 11 yr old model in the flashbacks but in the Jane one she has to be 11 bc AJ is still in swaddling and Jane is barely pregnant.

Just because it's fun to make fun of them, I'm gonna have little more fun with the flashback models. Kenny is definitely the worst becaus

  • i like his design as well. i don't necessarily dislike his beanie, but i'd like to see him without it.

  • Gabe and Mariana look like they've been whored out to Disney's magazine and advertising corporation.

  • I love the new engine design, shows how the progression into the apocalypse and how everyone and everything changes.

    • Clothes design were amazing glad no reused same old clothes.
    • Walkers had even been graphically upgrade
    • Gabe design doesnt make him look young
    • Javi is DEAD sexy
    • I loved details on clem injuries from past season stayed on her from ur choices.
  • Bumping this so people can continue to bitch about Clementine discuss the designs now that it's over.

  • All I'm gonna say is that I like Jesus's design in Ep.5. He looks pretty good in armor and a man-bun.

    Jesus

  • Eleanor's design is something.... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

  • Every character's skin reflects light and makes them look like wax sculptures

  • To be honest i actually liked the character designs in a new frontier ((Fern andrandom mechanic guy dont count))
Althought i wish the characters were more developed since the only ones i actually liked were:
Clem ((of course)) , David and Conrad .

  • The game is not about looks and designs.

But since "that special thing" is lost after s1, yeah, discuss quality of Kenny's beard.

  • Umm she's very clearly Asian...

  • Yeah, that was definitely an issue throughout. Some like Ava managed to avert that a bit, but others like Joan open up different problems.
