Not sure if i known if there even are that many newcomers because most people just joke around about them i ve never seen anyone say their entry to their series was a new frontier.

I think it's Telltale who wanted to draw the newcomers, not the newcomers themselves. I refuse to believe Telltale did this to a franchise that made them so popular.
I wouldn't blame newcomers, but more Telltale themselves. In case you didn't know, most of the writers and staff who worked on Season One and some of Season Two of TWD are gone. A new bunch of writers wrote New Frontier along with new head writers every episode. It's bad if one writer wants to go one route but the next wants to go on another route.
If it were up to me, I'd stick with one team of writers each season for every episode. They'd plan everything in advance so the season can be much crisper and clear than what it is now.
I had watched season 1 and 2 and knew they go on sale for 4 dollars often so I'd rather wait to buy them.
Plus Javier is my literal self … moreinsert and I'm shameless like that.
But also because when I watched ANF, nobody was making the choices I would have made so I gave up and bought it to see for myself.
(all the lets players I watched kept romancing Kate and fighting with David)
It's not "newcomers" fault so much as it is telltales cheap justification for making a cop out product that they preferred to make rather than a legitimate S3 continuation. This is solely telltales fault and none else for the this "newcomer" product they made. Also I have yet to find out why telltale suddenly became interested in what people who care nothing about telltale or invested into telltale content at all.

Pretty much.

And that's what makes it worse. Appealing to newcomers that are almost non-existent.

Newcomers didn't ruin the series, Telltale ruined Telltale
lol what newcomers?
ANF was the first TWDG I played. Did I just single handedly destroy the franchise?
Why didn't you start with Season One?

Fair enough.

Let's not delve into elitism based on who played TWD the earliest, please.
