I highly doubt it will even be wrapped up with a dlc.
I'd agree with this, but the Ranch is only a few miles away from Richmond, not a few states away. If it was, then I'm all up for a season about her traveling a long distance to find him.
Because his story is done. Clem's story is not. We still have to find AJ. I highly doubt it will even be wrapped up with a dlc. They will pr… moreobably have to make an entire season with Clem's story to get AJ back. The people at the ranch might be her new crew for the next season.
i'll be glad if we play as older clem in the new season. Pretty much how we got to play as her back in S2, which thought was pretty cool. Even if we only got to play as her in flashbacks in ANF, it was still cool to see what happened to her after whatever decisions we made for her way back in S2.
I understand that right now, most of the people don't see Javi's story going any further than this, but Telltale could think of SOMETHING. I really hope he doesn't just get written off, cause I love his character.
Ending Javi's story right there makes me feel like ANF was a waste of time. It just introduced us to new characters that won't appear ever again. Clem's character didn't get developed that much, the only thing that's different about her is her appearance and age. Season 4 would kinda be like the real season 3, since not much has changed regarding Clem troughout the 3rd season, if you get what I'm trying to say.
Now, don't get me wrong, I don't want the same thing to happen again with Clem not being playable but I'd still like it if you could play as Javi from time to time. Kinda like in Tales From The Borderlands.
I think it was just to attract newcomers. Now that everyone is complaining about not giving Clem enough playtime, the DLC or S4 will be an a… morepology from Telltale by letting us play as her next time.
And to be honest, I don't see Javi's story evolve into anything else further than his family. He still has some family left and he plans on staying in Richmond for a while. Unless Richmond gets ruined or burned down, I don't expect to see Javi anytime soon.
I don't believe it'll be DLC since game focuses more on Javi and this was already debated as season final not "series finale" either way all comes down to "YES PLAY AS CLEM AGAIN!!!!!!!"
Man, there's absolutely no way to please anyone. When that was shown in the post-credits scene I was expecting more praise and happiness. Instead it's just the usual predictable complaining.

Well they make it sound like Clem might come back to Richmond especially since that would be safer for AJ so I don't think Javier will end there ( but then again it would be hard to focus on the Gracias since they all are determinant) but if they do continue with Javi we will most likely get to play as them 50/50.
She was brilliant in ANF to be honest, her more in your face attitude she has in the later seasons is a drastic change from how innocent she was in the first two seasons. Playing as a more matured and badass Clem in the next season would be what I want to be honest.

Even if we don't play as Javi anymore I doubt we're done with him. I bet we'll see him show up again in a future season. Heck, I'm even thinking the supposed DLC will likely focus on Javi and clear up and plot threads that were left from the finale.
Season Four will likely focus on Clem though, it looks like she's about to go on some sort of big adventure.
At the end it did sound like Clementine could possibly go back to Richmound with AJ but if/when we do get some DLC or another season i don't expect we will play as Javier again, his story seemed to be pretty well wrapped up at the end and the focus in the end teaser appears to be on Clementine finding AJ.

I love it, Clem has totally grown into a full blown warrior/lady-like and she'll get AJ back and bring him back to her new family (Kate&Javi/Richmond). EP 5:9.6/10. Looking forward to season 4, see Where Aj ended up and what goes on with Clem, Kate and Javi and co (Jesus and so forth). Loved every bit of it, now I'm looking forward to GoTG EP2 next week. Also, I'm Glad I got rid of David (he was so bloody annoying and an A-Hole, Gabe sadly chose the wrong side and died. Made my Javier commit to kate(happy days) and my girl Clem and AJ<>>>His new family.
I'm glad we play as Clem again. I'm glad Clem is main character again, but you know what I'm not glad about? The fact that they didn't even give us closure on Clem and AJ's story. They pretty much said "HEY WE KNOW WE FUCKED UP, BUT IF YOU WANT TO CONTINUE AJ'S STORY AND EVERYTHING, COME BACK NEXT SEASON BUT WE'RE GONNA ENSURE THAT YOU KNOW CLEM IS THE PROTAGONIST NEXT SEASON". Don't get me wrong, I'm glad Clem is the protagonist again, but I'm not glad they try to make us buy the next game like this. Finish the story that you started this season.
(+ they didn't really give us closure on anyone's story. Clint/Joan? Nah, forgotten. What about Max if he was alive? Nah, forgotten.)

Kate's relationship came to a head, David and Javier had a final catharsis moment, Richmond began to thrive again, and Gabe got over his shit or died trying. Not to say the episode is without flaws, as it has many, but it really wasn't that bad. I'll give you not finding out what happened to Max or Clint though, that's pretty bullshit.
Holy fuck, cant believe they purposely concluded absolutely NOTHING even though that's what the whole season is about in order to force us t… moreo buy the next game. As my tweet said:

Will you be buying it? http://www.strawpoll.me/13070361
If that's the case, I expect some time will pass and I guess Clem will age a bit more too(as she goes on her journey to find Aj). Also as she's on her journey she could learn new things too and meet new folks as well.

I would actually enjoy it if Javier is in season 4, but Clementine is the protagonist, get that proper "other side of the coin" they were going with in regards to Clementine this season
Funnily enough, I hated Gabe for the entire season, but he is the only one that survived.... and I am satisfied, Gabe really stepped up this episode, and I got David dying on screen, and I immensely enjoyed that scene, David and Javier, together in his final moments, and Davids final moments, all he can think about is Gabes safety, in the end, he became the father he so desperately wanted

Im not entirely sold on her new hair either, they should have kept it like it was after it was cut short, but before that weird side cut whatever. Although I am not totally against her new style either, I quite like her new look, she looks like she has finally become the independant survivor she was becoming all this time
Her new haircut does look pretty silly, doesn't look too bad though when she's wearing her hat though.
I do like that red jacket she added to that new attire too, looked pretty badass.
Its the natural evolution of her character, she is growing up in an apocalypse, its only normal she would change this way, and I absolutely love it, cant wait for whats in store.
Here is hoping that they learn from this seasons biggest mistake, dont have conflicting interests between the main character and the player (as in, Javier being very attached to his family, but me only being attached to them in episode 4/5 because I have to get to know them first)
She was brilliant in ANF to be honest, her more in your face attitude she has in the later seasons is a drastic change from how innocent she… more was in the first two seasons. Playing as a more matured and badass Clem in the next season would be what I want to be honest.
I will agree that this season ending was kinda weak, and like you I am also happy that Clementine is returning, I did find some weird satisfaction in Davids death though, I was so mad at David after him ruining the deal, but he managed to completely win me over again next season, because the thing I felt in the very first episode after David said "you know I love you brother", that David was trying his hardest to be a good brother/father, and in the end, his death actually elicited an emotional response from me.
I also weirdly enough was happy with Gabe being the only survivor, I have been hating him all season, but I really enjoyed him this episode (although thank god for no cringy Gabe/Clementine moment)
All in all I was pretty satisfied with this episode, but the rest of the season wasnt very up to snuff

I really hope they dont go with a huge timeskip, a month or 2 at most, I really enjoy stories that picks up right where they leave off, there is also way too much room to just ignore everything that happened if there is a 2 year timeskip again
If that's the case, I expect some time will pass and I guess Clem will age a bit more too(as she goes on her journey to find Aj). Also as she's on her journey she could learn new things too and meet new folks as well.
I ended up with Gabe as the sole survivor, and I actually enjoyed Davids death (not in a "yay he is dead" way though), I thought it was one of the best scenes in the game (although as I understand he can also die offscreen, I guess you went with Kate?)
Episode 5 was definitely the highlight of this season though, wasnt really at all into it until now, but the last half of this episode was pretty great

wasn't there like stuff for DLC in the files and or vaguely mentioned in one of the ratings for the game? Isn't season 4 suppose to be another new protagonist?
Another thing I noticed is that my clem has come out very different! in terms of personality wise i believe based on the choices i made throughout anf

I mean, I can kind of understand him though, yes David has problems, yes he is maybe not a very good father, but he is trying, and in the end, he still IS Gabes father, that Father/son bond is not something so easily broken, Gabe is trying to save his father from falling deeper into the dark pit he is in during episode 5

I like the end post credits hoping for a new season playing as Clem. Because Clem is badass in S3 ANF, now I wonder how she will be in next story

Who the hell put Claire Underwood in the game? lol

Javi needs to work on his haircutting skills, good to know we'll be getting a Clem season after this though

I would like it if they focused more on Clem but still, Javi is Javi. I really got used to having him around.
