One thing that wonders me is how Clementine strongly stated that she was disgusted with Javier and Eleanor being nice and kind of flirted with each other but she doesn't mind kissing a dying Gabe who's entire face is covered/drenched in blood when she have only known him for a couple of days and barely talked to him. Is this a result of too many writers/chefs in the kitchen who doesn't know what they are doing?

Yes.. This is a result of having freelance writers who do not care about the project enough and are too lazy to even add consistency to the characters.
It's different, Gabe was dying and Clem knew very well he got a crush on her. It's like Clementine holding hands with handcuffed dying Lee, she did it despite him covered in walker's guts, blood and sadness.
This is just shitposting now.
I believe she did it to make his last moments happy out of pity. This has been done before in other games and even movies.

Eleanor had done nothing but good up till they decided to roll on Joan in public, while Clementine's reaction to her happened after she just got in trouble from killing a guy. Pretty sure it was just a combination of self-righteousness and cootie logic or whatever.
She's also a kid that just now is going through puberty. Clementine isn't an Adult - so i think it makes sense for a kid who just got her period to one day think that kissing of adults is gross and then to have a huge crush on a guy the next day. Hormones and all that jazz..
