Because the episode it's rushed, deprived of logic and emotions once again. TT was in a great hurry to show us multiple endings that they didn't have time for some meaningless determinant characters. "They're dead? Oh well. Time to move on."
This is a problem that telltale has had since S2 which they have not improved at all. Nearly everyone that dies have little to no impact on the characters who simply move on from the deaths seconds later.
Ava and Tripps death were on some Sarah and Nick level of bullshit
Definitely. I forgot they even existed 10 seconds later. They completely left-hand-written this episode as if it was some second class cinch. The pacing in this episode or in fact, all the episodes are tousled all over the damned yard.
Tripp is kinda like what Nick went through offscreen.
Ava is simultaneous better and worse than The Sarah Situation.
I can sorta understand not giving too much of a shit about Tripp, but Ava was definitely a violation of common sense.
Both were wasted regardless.
