More interactivity in Season 4
Hi everyone!
I miss the level of interactivity that the previous TWD games had. You could explore certain areas, interact with various objects and talk to other characters. Without these scenes the game feels more like a playable action movie than it does a TWD game, and character relationships aren't as well-rounded. There were very few explorable areas in ANF and sometimes the interaction felt cheap (picking up the wallet in Episode 5 comes to mind).
As a result, the episodes felt short, many people struggled to connect with characters, and ANF could barely call itself an adventure game.
What do you think? Do you like having less exploration and more action? Or would you prefer to have both?

This season is not totally disappointment for me. Because a few of the developments were actually great. For example when you surrendered to New Frontier in ep2, that fight scene and the quick events on that was good. I expected to see more but I couldnt. But exploring was fun in s1 and 2. Telltale didnt made it so much in s3. I wished it could be more like open-world, do random stuff and there will be consequences just like in Life Is Strange. I know its never gonna happen but I hope they can fix it in s4
The previous games had a lot of open-world hubs where you could interact with everything around you and talk to the characters. ANF had very few and they were limited. Hopefully they'll take it under consideration.
I think that in The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, exploring has been quite boring, searching the junkyard for supplies in episode one is an example of this in my opinion.
And I think in this season it is not very effective to do this, as there is hardly any character development involved and no other determinant actions for you to carry out. And I think that it seems like more of a chore to play out - rather than for entertainment, and I want to get it over with as soon as possible.
It has been more successful in other seasons in my opinion, such as in season two, you have to find suitable supplies that will help you stitch your arm, which is intense to do and it's a fun way contibute to the story.
Another example where searching for supplies to stitch Clem's arm was a better addition to game than in ANF's exploring, is that you can determinantly find Nick's watch, that is given to him by Pete, which you can return to him in the next episode in another exploration scene, and he is very grateful and it increases your relationship with him.
Whereas in ANF, adding exploration feels forced, and that it was hard to add this into the game as the outcome was small compared to other seasons.
This is just in my opinion, but I find exploring in ANF quite boring and forced compared to other seasons...
