Regarding that missing choices...

...seriously Telltale as much as I admire and love your games I can't stand that anymore. At first I couldn't upload my Season 2 Choices since I was told they are corrupt or there were some choices missing (which wasn't the case when I finished Season 2). Ok. I kinda recreated everything.

Now throughout this whole new season my choices/savegames disappeared 2-3 times and everytime I replayed every Episode anew. So today I started the finale Episode and everything was fine so far (I even had 5 major choices for all 5 Episodes registered). After watching the credits my character cards didn't appear and I was told that there were problems with the server. After getting back into the main menu my whole progress was reseted. My cloud file says it's empty now and I got no idea why my local save file isn't accepted. So yeah. It was all for nothing.

I know that this thread is gonna be moved and closed. Also you guys gonna tell me to send a ticket to the support which I already did and nothing happened.

How about a public statement or a bug fix or at least something official from you guys? I know I'm by far not the only one with these problems. All that sh*t is making it really hard to enjoy your games anymore. I don't want to have to worry about everything getting deleted just because I want to a play a new Episode. This is why I don't even start the new Guardians Episode right now.

So please. Just give us finally some info about that problem.

  • for a second i thought you meant the scrapped scenes For Joan and Clint.
    Cause the choices for episode 5 were originally Leaked and only 2 of them were missing from this episode:
    One with Joan where you had to decide between Executing her , Exiling her or Letting her stay in Richmond.
    And one with Clint where you and him decided what to do about the supplies Joan stole.

  • I'm having problems too. It keeps deleting my choices plus it won't let me continue my story from season 2.

    So this is what I got as an answer from the Telltale support:

    Thank you for contacting us. Our team is aware of this issue, and we have found this may occur for users who have both the Steam Cloud and Telltale Cloud enabled for the game. Having both Clouds enabled can cause a wipe in save data, and unfortunately, the only known resolution at this time is ensure the Steam Cloud is disabled for the game, then start a new game.

    To do this, please open your Steam Library and right click on the game. Select Properties, click the Updates tab, and turn off Steam Cloud towards the bottom. Click Close to save your settings. If you do these steps and choose to replay Episode 1, your progress should remain.

    Our team is continuing to investigate this issue, and we hope to have further information on it soon.

    Problem is that I already disabled Steam Cloud for all Telltale games. :/

    Besides there are other players on Playstation and Xbox with the same problem and I guess Steam Cloud Save can't be the problem on consoles. ^^
