Season 4 Villain(s)?

Who or what do you think the villain of season 4 should be? Should it be a group like New Frontier? Or only one person like The Stranger?

If Telltale were to make a really good villain next season, I think it should be someone like Randall or Negan: insane, manipulative, cold blooded, and cunning.

Or they can take it a step further and have a group of people from the comics as the main villains: The Whisperers. I can picture Clem running into them while searching for AJ. At first she assumes they're good people, but The more she stays with them, the more she finds out about their horrific lifestyle.

  • It better be Joan or Clint.

  • Joan was a horrible villain. I wouldn't count Clint as one, he's more of an anti-hero.

Somebody like Nate would be great. Telltale hasn't really done a psychotic villain yet, unless you count Randall.

  • Oh I know, both are awful, but I'd rather them come back for Season 4 (if that's the continuation of Clementine's story) because both completely disappeared for episode 5.

  • That's what I'm hoping for as well. Randall was a great villain. I think having a great villain makes the story 100x better.

  • I'm sure if they did come back and happen to run into Clem, they're gonna be put down by her in an instant, especially Joan.

  • I think it's important that they seem very human too. I mean what was really great about Norma and Randall was that they didn't see themselves as the bad guys. Norma tried desperately to keep the peace and Randall felt that he and his people were wronged.

  • Handsome Jack from Borderlands is another good example. He didn't see himself as a bad guy and only wanted to rid the world of bandits and bad people, even if it means killing people to do so.

He's easily one of my favorite villains of all time. I'm hoping Telltale can introduce someone like him next season.
