Going after **** causes Clementine to like you more?
It seems so from these Clem screens. In the first screen I went after Gabe, In the second screen I went with Kate.
In the latter it implies that there is a some sort of resentment towards Javier whereas ,in the first screen, it implies that Clem is friendly with Javier.
What do you think about this?

I guess it makes some sense, given that Javier is choosing to help Kate save the city instead of going after his actual blood family. Plus, she'd obviously had a little more investment in Gabe, whose around her age and the youngest member of the family, than Kate(who she barely spent time with) and David(who burned her real good).
That isn't at all what that says.
I wondered the same thing, no idea why going after Kate it cuts off Clem being confident enough for herself and Javi.
