Was it me that only Hated The Governor and the Woodbury Arc in the TV Series
So is it just me that hated The Governors and the Woodbury arc in the TV Series. I mean it was so Fucking Epic in the Comics so let me tell you why I hated it.
So The Governor was just so WEAK in the Show from being a Crybaby and then Failing to kill people in both of the Prison Attacks.
Then came Tv Lilly or better known as April, If you read Rise Of The Governor you know why i just called her April. I hated this character in the show and TBH this Lilly had nothing related to Comic/Novel Lilly only the name and killing The Governor. But even then it was Michonne that killed the Governor, Lilly only made The Governor not come back as a walker. So, in my opinion, Lilly Caul was Cut from the show. Novel/Comic Lilly Hated The Governor for sometime until she lost her Baby and then blamed it on Rick. Tv Lilly just Sucked on The Governors Dick most of the time.
Then came CUT Characters from cutting out Dr Stevens, Alice, Gabe, and a handful of other Woodbury characters. And don't give me Dr Stevens was a woman and Alice was Milton because I won't take you seriously then. Dr Stevens in the show had nothing in common with Comic Stevens and Milton had nothing in common with Alice only wanting to solve a cure or something but Milton done nothing while Alice wanted to actually solve the virus.
Then came the awful Woodbury Location. I mean in the Show Woodbury was really a Safe Haven and all nice but in the Comics Woodbury was actually an Evil place to be in. Like people killed themselves in it and it was just a wicked place explained better in the Novels. Woodbury in the Show was just an awful Adaptation.
And Last but not least The Prison Attacks. Now i hated The Prison Attacks in the show because they were Awful and no one died but Hershel. In the Comics the whole Cast who stayed at The Prison were Killed off other than Rick Carl and Michonne. It's like every comic reader who read the Attacks and says The Show version was better forgot about the comic version. The Show was just them shooting on the Ground and avoided killing big time characters.
But that was my little rant on this tell me if you agree or not and why.

i hated TV Govenor
I personally liked the transition of his character. Yes he wasn't as ruthless as his comic counterpart but i thoroughly enjoyed his character. I felt he died way too soon though
TV rating systems softened the Governor's story arc a great deal. I was actually expecting it. They really pushed the boundaries for Negan's character introduction and received a notable publicized backlash. While I do appreciate what AMC did for Walking Dead, I still think it would've been a better show for HBO. There's just so much more that network would've been able to offer as far as comic content and acceptable inclusions of storyline.
For what their operating limitations are, I do give AMC props for a lot of what they've done, and it wouldn't have the popularity that it has enjoyed without them taking a chance on it.
TV Governor was infinitely more complex and developed than the comic iteration
did you read the Novels tho because that gives Comic Governors Character a lot more Development
The first half of season 3 I thought was great. Everything after that made me stop watching the series. I started again right up until half way through the recent season, and have stopped again.
Yeah I read the novels but even then it's still weird
I do understand with the timeline and all but lets admit we didn't need to know every bit about Tv Governor thats why Comic Governor was so interesting
